Sterling Free Public Library

Super helpful and friendly staff. Amy does a great job as the librarian. A big children’s section with other fun interactive things to do, including regular story time and activities for young ones in basement. For a small public library that have a good selection of adult book too, and they are always more than happy to help get what you want on interlibrary loan. Lots of movies, new and old. Public computer work stations too. My family loves this place.

Library was closed, but we stopped to rest in the shade and use the Wi-Fi.

Did not go inside, but the building and play area are beautiful!

Not only can you check out books and DVD but you can also get full internet access.

Amazing movie selection! Almost any movie you want is here. And obviously lots of books too.

Good service and good people

Library board full of ignorant bigots. Honestly, embarrassed that such narrow-minded, misinformed, and disgusting individuals are even allowed to make decisions for a public library. You would think with such easy access to books they might actually pick one up and read it. However, if they can’t distinguish between autism and pride I think they might find it hard-pressed to read anything of substance.

Uneducated board members fired two perfectly amazing Liberians because they thought the neurodivergent symbol was a pride symbol. Even after the Liberians explained they were still fired because apparently their hatred for the rainbow flag(LGBTQA+) is greater than those with disabilities who want to feel seen and loved.

Now Reptards are scared of autistic children or are too stupid to know the difference in the Autisim Diversity Logo and a Pride Flag. Either way the Library Board are a bunch of
political hacks. I heard they plan to ban the color brown since it’s made by mixing all the other colors and we can’t that!

This library fired librarians over a rainbow display. Not even for pride. Ridiculous. Libraries are resources for all people and the materials in the library should represent them. Shame on you.

Homophobic library fires people when they don't understand things. Choose a different one. Oh wait, red states have no infrastructure. Good luck Kansans.

Unless you are potentially wanting to be discriminated against, I would suggest NEVER going to this library. Absolutely despicable.
