I went there for the first time after a friend recommended it to me.
It is located on the ground floor of a very beautiful building.
The entrance is wide and wheelchairs can easily enter. There are no steps inside the restaurant.
There are tables and box seats. This restaurant also has tables for large groups.
I ordered the yogurt and muffin plate and my friend ordered the California omelette plate.
The yogurt was very tasty with quite a lot of fruit and not too sweet. The blueberry muffins were also fluffy and very tasty.

Nice place to relax and wind down while eating. Great staff, pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend Early Edition here in MHK

I ordered the stuffed strawberry French toast and my husband ordered The Colonel with over easy eggs. We were both happy with our order. We drive from JC and we have been to both locations and by far the one on Kimball was great. The waitress was very friendly and considerate. The staff we came in contact with were also friendly. I don't know her name but she was sweet and helpful. Will be returning to this location the next time.

Extremely packed during the mornings, as their specialty is breakfast. Which they are excellent with! Theyre not very good with steaks, as my medium turned to be very well.. but thats ok. The excellent side potatoes make up for it. The service is very good and kind; the young waiters were doing a great job with making the business flow despite it being so packed.

There were way too many people for these Covid times, so I would probably avoid the rush hours in the future. But will definitely come back!
Place is clean, great food selection, plenty of parking and big tables that can fit 6 people or even more children.

My absolute favorite place to go when I visit Manhattan. I have NEVER had a bad experience here, and the food is always great. The people are great, especially Gerry. The management is great. There is a reason they have been around so long, because it's awesome (and great.) And better than The Chef, RENE!

Very accommodating to vegetarians! We ordered a breakfast burrito with no sausage. The manager happened to bring our food to the table (the restaurant was busy so she was helping run food) and asked if we were vegetarian. When we said yes, she had us cut into the burrito to make sure there was no meat (there wasn’t). Then she offered to bring a side of avocado as a meat replacement. Everything was delish!

We had a mid-morning breakfast. Service was excellent, and the food delicious!

If your looking for a home cooked meal; breakfast from here is the perfect choice. The food portions, presentation are absolutely delicious. I ordered the waffle combo, with bacon, scrabbled eggs and potatoes. What a treat and the prices were even lower than other restaurants in the area. I love the long standing local community restaurant and the service because you know you will be cared for and they that is provide a meal and service that you want to return and experience. I am so full, and so grateful for the many breakfast meal choices.

A sincere, friendly staff that prepares and serves hunger quenching portions of delectable food.

I also enjoy the mostly Christian background music. The volume does not compete with conversations or thoughts.

Love this place! Always great service and great food; very reasonably priced! They always have plenty of servers available and it's like a beehive of activity as they take care of everyone. The wait on Sundays is definitely worth it. Just had a delicious new dish today that was within my Weight Watchers points too! Thanks for making less "Carby" meals available!

Amazing came to visit my sister we were supposed to try a bunch of different breakfast spots but for 4 days we came here three out of the four. Ask for a tamale on the side it's amazing

I had the colonel and it was delicious. Service was great and food came out quickly.

This place was great! This was the best diner steak I think I've ever had. It wasn't a paper thin slice AND they know how to cook a medium rare. I will say they're a bit skimpy on the sides (potatoes with the egg & steak wre pretty lite and the gravy on the biscuits barely covered each biscuit). Taste wise it was great and the service was good too. We'll definitely end up back there.

This is a great local diner that serves good breakfast food. We usually get there right away in the morning and don't have issues getting a seat right away. The portions are large and it is always good food. The skillets are my favorite breakfast meal but the rest of the menu is good as well. I would stop by and give them a try. Nothing classy but always good!!!
