HODES Family Veterinarians are the absolute very best in their field. I am very particular about who cares for our 2 dogs, and I have never been happier with every single person in this clinic. They genuinely care about your pets and spend extra time answering questions, taking notes during appointments, and following up after! You won't ever find better staff. . .

Everyone is always super nice and you can tell by how they interact with not only the animal owners but the animals. My American Akita Mimi has gone to Hodes since she was around 3 months old and she still, up to this day, LOVES going to the vet. She's always super excited to see everyone and even get her shots.

The "Best" Veterinary office we have ever seen. You are greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. The Dr's and staff are top rate, Honest and Compassionate. I would not take my babies any where else!

We always bring in the whole pack of dogs for vaccinations each year, with 4 dogs that can be overwhelming. Everyone is so kind, helpful and understanding of us. They were amazing last year when one of our dogs had an emergent illness, another time when one of our doggos unexpectedly died, when we had a foster dog, and when we introduced a new puppy this year. We love the Hodes team!

We were referred to Hodes from our primary vet when our dog was hospitalized at VESH on a Sunday and our vet couldn't get us in Monday for surgery. Not only did Hodes get us into their schedule within an hour of us calling but they ran tests on our dog, completed XRays and was able to tell us that it was safe to wait on surgery until the next day when our primary vet could get us in for the surgery- they would’ve operated if necessary that day and I would’ve trusted them to do so, at this time we wanted to wait if possible. Hodes kept our dog safe, hooked up to fluids and monitored her through the day and kept her overnight. They provided updates when we called without hesitation and had the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced in the veterinary world. Dr. Jackson met me at their clinic the next morning 45 minutes before opening so I could get Piper and take her to our vet for surgery check-in. He then called me that evening to see how her surgery went and called me a few days later to see how Piper was recovering post surgery, he didn’t have to do that but he did ! I’m beyond grateful for Hodes in our time of need for Piper, their outstanding bedside manner, Dr. Jackson’s gentle approach to a very scared dog mama who was terrified her dog was going to die and for each staff member we encountered who was kind and compassionate. If I’m ever in need of a vet clinic for primary needs or even an emergency situation I’ll be calling Hodes first! 10/10 recommend!

They were so very helpful. I had to take my dog to the er. Which I was grateful for their help. They wanted to charge me 4500. To do surgery. I could not afford that. So we left and a friend had told me about Hodes Veterinary Office. I called them the next morning they got him right in and fixed him with not near the cost. They constantly checked in on him with me. They are by far the best there is. They truly care about your pets and go above and beyond . I am very grateful for them. If you need help or just regular visit this is where you truly need to go .

We had an emergency with our 22yr old Pumpkin Cat and our vet couldn't fit us in. They sent us over to Hodes and It was AMAZING! Dr.Lucas and staff were fun, kind, and made us feel at home! They quickly did blood work and got to work. They kept me updated with text messages and didn't mind my constant calling. Pumpkin was home 24 hrs later and I'm so thankful!

They gave me peace of mind for my little sun conure bird and figured out he has something like acid reflux only for birds. Cost $64. That’s good for Wichita! We did have to wait 1 1/2 hours because of an emergency. (10 chickens got attacked or something) but they were very kind and apologetic!

Dr. Tanner is an exceptional veterinarian. He was very kind and gentle with my canary. He did a through examination and written report. He provided excellent suggestions I could use immediately and they worked! He made me feel comfortable and welcome. We will never go anywhere else. 10 stars out of 5!

Thank you all so much for the amazing care and kindness you showed my cat Babygirl! We drive four hours to come to this vet and that should speak volumes on just how much we love this vet clinic! Yes there are plenty of other vets near me but ever since the first visit to them on an emergency visit for my boy dog and it being midnight when they saw us , I have just been in love with this place and the care and kindness they show and give to my animals! So if you are looking for an amazing vet that you can actually trust and believe in you need to go no further and come to this vet! You will never want to go anywhere else! They are brilliant at what they do and you will always feel confident in the care your pet is receiving! Thank you all again for helping with my cat this visit! She is doing good and will be even better once her meds arrive to be taken ! Couldn’t have done this without you all! Thanks again for everything!! See you in a month!! Much light and love to all!

Dr. Tanner was very understanding and kind with his approach regarding our concerns for our Iguana, Diablo. We trust him and his staff. Everyone is very caring. The clinic is very clean and the staff is helpful and full of nice people. 10/10

HODES is one of if not THE best vet clinics in the area. We frequent them CONSTANTLY (far far far more than I would like - but we love our doggies) and they always provide THE best care for our animals and THE best customer service for us. And always a phone call away when my crazy wife goes into a tailspin about random dog health issues :) and that’s priceless. Lol.

I brought my reactive dog here today for an ongoing ear infection after multiple bad experiences (and refused care) at another clinic. He has fear-based aggression towards people and takes time to warm up to new humans. The quality of care we received at Hodes was next level. They were very understanding and patient with him and gave him the time he needed to get to know the staff. They had amazing body language with him and I could tell they understood his body language as well, remaining calm when he was barking and just giving him time to calm down. He was accepting treats from the nurse, which he’s never been able to do at the vet. Dr Ralston thoroughly explained everything they were doing, the “why’s”, and what our options were for treatment. You can tell that the whole staff genuinely cares about the animals they see and their people. It takes a big heart to provide the level of care and patience we received today. We will be bringing all of our pets to Hodes from now on!

Dr. Tanner and his Staff are wonderful. They all work as a team and treat my Pets and Myself with utmost respect. We all enjoy visiting as we are greeted with smiles and everyone is always in a good frame of mind. It just makes the day so much better for everyone!!
If you are in need of a great Veterinary Clinic, Hodes is the place to go. Very competative pricing and highly knowledgable Doctors and Nurses. We all love Hodes Veterinary Health Clinic, they are Awesome!!

This was my first visit to this clinic based on a friend's recommendation and I am highly impressed. First, they schedule appointments which is amazing. They also gave me a tour of the whole clinic. They treat a wide variety of animals, and they gave services I never even knew existed including laser therapy for bad joints. I have four cats, a dog, a snake and a gecko and I think I've found a new veterinarian office. ❤

Exotic care:
Taking birds to the vet is an anxiety inducing situation since it could easily go south.. but having a vet that seems knowledgeable in avian care makes the experience way better. The whole staff is very nice every time I’ve had an appointment as well! :)
(They have a huge monstera as well!!!)

I genuinely love this clinic. They are affordable, all of the vets are nice the vet techs are amazing, and the girls that work at the front desk are lifesavers. We drive out from Wichita because they are all caring and amazing people. We've taken rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, a hedgehog and a bunch of cats out to them and they've always been happy to meet and treat our little friends. Tbh I'd trust Dr. Tanner with my life lol

Kind, compassionate and intelligent. They saved my dog's life. We took Dexter to his primary vet twice and even went to another hospital but the Doctor here figured out that what was wrong with our baby was he was an undiagnosed diabetic! I can't thank them enough!

The on-call staff came in at 2:45am Halloween night to take care of my sick 6lb chihuahua. They were transparent about pricing and called multiple times a day during her stay with updates. She is finally back home and feeling like herself. 100% would recommend!!!

Vets are very caring, and very knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable and show a lot of patience with our cats which isn't easy lol. I really do appreciate them.
