I'll tell you a secret. The stylists in this shop-like environment give haircuts that are top notch. Every bit as good, or better, than their sport-cut competition down the road, without the check-in and wait model. Make an appointment with the stylist you want, show up at your time, and walk out feeling great. If you don't want to have to flex your day's schedule around a haircut, give this shop a shot.

Arianna was awesome. The website was super easy to navigate and to use and very accurate on time frames. Said 20 minute haircut and let me tell you, I was in the chair by 1:20 and in my truck by 1:40…which is different from the wait you get at a nearby competitor where you can be waiting for a hot minute. At the end of the day, great haircut, wonderful hair stylist, and easy to pay prices! 10/10 do recommend. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks Arianna!

My hubs has his hair cut by Gena and she does the best job of anyone who has cut his hair! She pleases my husband and myself, and he always goes to Gena when he needs a haircut. The prices are good too.

Simply can't say enough good about Tony. My mother, who suffers from dementia, was a client of his before he moved to The Sport Chop. I'm not sure how but she found out where he moved to and we made an appointment. I think he was surprised. He greeted her like an old friend and went above and beyond with assisting her during the appointment. Needless to say she is not the normal clientele (male) but that didn't matter. Kudos Tony 👏 for brightening my mother's day. Stability is important. And also patience. Thank you.

I took my son here for the first time for a trim. Noell did a great job. Even though he was the only one working and had been busy that day (back to school haircuts) he had a great attitude and was extremely professional. The shop was clean and check-in was seamless. After we left my son said he only wants to see Noell from now on, which is saying a lot because he is picky! Thank you for the great service!

Stopped in at the Sport Chop today, very nice, clean and locally owned shop! Reyna cut my hair, she took her time and made it look really nice. She didn't rush at all, as I had experienced at other places. Fair prices and lots of products to choose from. Will definitely be a regular customer here!

Visited for the first time last weekend. Gina was my stylist. She was very friendly, experienced as well as the other gentleman on that shift. I love supporting local small businesses. I am glad that I have found my new haircut place. Thank you for opening.

We popped in for a last minute hair cut. Gina did a great job! We had no clue what to ask for, and she talked with us and looked a picture; she also talked to my son before and during his cut, about what he wanted, and chit chat so he was comfortable. We were offered beverages and everyone was incredibly friendly! We'll be back!

My husband and 4 boys come here regularly and their cuts look great! Checkin is very easy, the people are always courteous and my boys love being able to pick a bee hot wheels cars when they are done. Definitely our go to haircut place!

For a new place, the speed I can get into a chair and get a haircut in is great. That's not even talking about the haircut itself! I've been a few times now and all the employees are great at making your unique look happen. Hell, even with the rules of military haircuts, they don't disappoint. If you need a great cut in Derby, give them a try!

I have gotten my hair cut at Sport Chop numerous times, and the staff has done an excellent job at cutting my hair. The people are very friendly, and on Tuesday, I believe they have a reduced price for hair cuts.

Gina gives absolutely fabulous hair cuts. I have been going to her for over 14 years and will follow her anywhere. Which in my opinion says a lot since Sport Chop is mainly a man's salon and I am a woman.

This store has really turned into my go to place for a good haircut. They have an easy check-in process and they are aware of who's waiting. This makes me feel like as of they care about having my business.

They did a great job on my son's hair. And we have been there 2 times and have not had to wait long. I would recommend.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were patient with our two children while we as a family got cuts. My hair is still fantastic!! Love it!
