Sumner County Road & Bridge

You've got to love the intelligence of the Sumner county road and bridge office that closes the one bridge out of Belle Plaine,Ks (that doesn't flood over) in the middle of spring rainy season when the bridge has been prepped and ready since end of summer leaving all local residents/workers stuck navigating more dangerous washed out or flooded dirt roads to try to get to work,doctor or shopping! Instead of waiting to do the repairs during summer drier months!Only other option is to drive 40 miles one way to get to Wichita 20 miles away. Where were whomever's brains at when they made this decision? Think maybe they should give his job to someone else with more brains and common sense!
