Beautiful displays of County items. Organized abd understandable. Enjoyable to go through. Nice gift shop items. Restrooms.

I am so impressed with the Trego County Museum because they are so active in keeping their local history and that of the Smoky Hill Trail alive. They have interesting presentations, an active board of directors, and extremely knowledgeable staff who are willing to share their knowledge.

The Trego County Historical Society Museum is full of all kinds of treasures! You can spend hours there and Marjean, the director, is helpful and full of knowledge about the exhibits. For a small town, Wakeeney is lucky to have this treasure trove of its history! Definitely worth a visit!

Great museum. Helpful staff assisted in helping me locate the former townsite of Coyote. Lots of good history in the museum.

At this time of the year they are celebrating the 70th year of the Christmas of the high plains and they have 70 Christmas trees marked one for each of the 70 year,.
