Great customer service and long time merchants.

Angels in Lakin, KS. My wife and I never expected to stay the night there at the end of our two week vacation, but the water pump went out on my F150, and it was 100 degrees. Thankfully I rolled into the Circle K where Justice ( angel 1) was so helpful. She gave us the number of the sheriff’s and welcomed us to her store and directed us to options for dinner. We called AAA to get a tow, but this was a Sunday and they could not find anyone until the next day. Justice graciously allowed us to leave our truck in her parking lot overnight. By that time Sheriff’s Deputy, Sheila (angel 2) was in the store and she drove us to a very nice hotel The Cobblestone Inn. The next morning AAA called and said they couldn’t get a tow truck to us until 5:00 that evening, meaning we would have to stay another night. I called the Ford dealer where I intended to get it repaired and they weren’t even sure they could work it in the following day. I decided to walk to the. Circle K to ask if I could leave the truck there for another night. On the way I passed a Carquest Auto parts store and decided to see what options they might come up with. I didn’t get the name of the guy who helped me, up he is angel 3. He told me he had the parts in stock and gave me a couple of names and numbers of mechanics. I called Valley Tire and while they were discussing it, I called Hector (angel 4). Both of these were so helpful and willing. When David (angel 5) from Valley Tire called me back he reassured me he would get it fixed immediately, which was amazing, because he has a very busy shop. He and his mechanic (angel 5) even came to help me get the truck to their shop. David suggested he take me to the hotel so I wouldn’t have to wait in his small waiting room. Less than 3 hours later his receptionist (angel 6) called and told me it was ready. By the time we got our things together angel 5, the mechanic was in front of the hotel to pick us up. David said their team always tries to help stranded drivers on their way. I was also very impressed with how reasonable his price was for the repair, much less than his estimate. All in all Larkin, KS was an inconvenient blessing. Thanks to all of you for your servant spirit to a stranger.

I was traveling across country and just happened to have a valve stem go bad. It was an hour after they closed but when you call they have an after hour number. They came right over and got me back up and running! Great family owned business that goes above and beyond!! Thanks David!!!

My motorhome got a flat tire on a Sunday afternoon. I saw this business and pulled in. I called the number and the owner answered, he said he could get there in 15 min to check out my tire. He removed the tire and repaired it. I an so grateful to him for doing this for me. He charged a very fair price for the repair. We made it back to Indiana with no further tire problems. Thank you!!! Wished I lived closer so I could give you more business.
