One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We celebrated our Grandma’s birthday and had the best service, amazing food, and they played the happy birthday song with our Gma’s name over the speakers! Then when we were leaving the owner came out and changed all of the Christmas lights to ink so she could leave town in style! Talk about one of the best customer service experiences ever!

The Wine Journal is a rare find! The atmosphere is so amazing. It's beautiful. It features local wine. The owners are amazing. The staff is so kind. The level of detail they paid in developing a one of a kind wine bar in a super small town tells you that they absolutely love what they do.

Nice hidden gem. Food was really good at good price. 5 in our party, 4 of us ate while one waited, that meal was taken off the bill. So I would suggest you go try it out, call first and make a reservation especially if you have a large crowd. The table shared a Charcuterie Board and I had the Patty Melt Panini.

First time trying, and it was delicious! Atmosphere was relaxing yet elegant, nice music....definitely will be returning!!! Great service!

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Went for lunch today with friends and will certainly recommend to my neighbors. Fun appetizers, big salads, pizza and hearty entrees, featuring locally made desserts (try the chocolate wine cake!).

Had lunch with a friend. Pizza with bacon, ranch, and artichokes drizzled with a dark sauce 😋. Sweet wine 🍷 and dessert was delicious 😋.

Great food and drink. Our server was super friendly! It took a bit to get served but it's a busy Friday night.

Had there Bacon Jam Burger on a pretzel bun with some chips, it was really good and I'm planning on having it again when I visit again lol.

Absolutely Fantastic! My favorites are the BBQ flatbread pizza and the CHOCOLATE CHARCUTERIE BOARD. You must MUST MUST save room for the indulgent chocolate cake or carrot cake. Sometimes there’s only one piece left, so let them know when you order so you get dibs!!!

This was such an amazing find as we were driving north on I-49 and decided to stop after seeing the billboard. What a great concept to offer all the MO and KS winery top wines. The selection of wines is great! The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, as was the salad and sandwich that we had. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend going out of the way to come here.

The service was amazing. The food was delicious. The wine was great. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was adorable. I will definitely be returning.

It's perfect. Great choice of wines, most of them local. The spinach artichoke dip is better than any homemade dip I've ever tried. Great food. The style is superb with the vaulted ceilings, brick and wood. The service and especially the owner are so accommodating and pleasant. Love coming here with my fiance and will be making a monthly trip here once we move.
