Modern Variety

One of my most favorite stores ever since I was a little girl. The 2 women who work there are so lovely and sweet!

I have been going to Modern Variety since my childhood. If you want a unique and affordable gift for someone or yourself, this is your place to go! And their roasted cashews are the BEST ever!!!

What a GREAT little store!! If you want to step back 50-70 years, to see how things used to be, stop by this store, get some candy and speak to the great people that run the place (especially the older, sweet lady).

This store always makes me happy. They have a candy bar, cool toys, birthday supplies, purses, holiday items, crafting supplies, dog and cat toys, the list goes on! I love this local store. There's a little bit of everything here. The staff is always friendly, especially to young kids. The store is always clean, and has something everyone will love. I'd have to say the candy bar is definitely my favorite! You never know what you'll find here.

Love the chocolate covered nuts and raisins. They have such an eclectic variety of candies/food and household items you just can't find anywhere else and at great prices too. You have to stop in to say hi to the Ladies there. They are so friendly and have become like family.

Very nice place. As the name says, they have about everything from fabric and sewing notions to toys and flowers. Very friendly staff

This place is the greatest. My Mom, Joann Boke Witt, worked here when she was in high school. It's one of my favorite stores. When my cousin in NYC needed stuff for her and the other nurses, I went here. They donated some candy, kept the store open late, and even gave me cash to help with shipping cost. Not all the angels are in NYC!

The people there have always treated me well. Granted the prices tend to be expensive but still a wholesome place.
