Deer Rest Campground

Enjoyed our week at Deer Rest! Very clean, great view! My boys caught several catfish about 30 yards from our camper. Good local restaurants!

Love this place the owners are so friendly and helpful with any needs you might have...They have a lake area that you can walk around, dear walking through and a flock of wild geese that make themselves at home there. Just a great all around place to stay for a while, close to any kind of shopping or eating imaginable.

It's a great place. Super nice people. News site are nice. Will be even nicer when it's all done. Charlie and Stacey are working hard ! We plan on staying for a long time.

Very friendly staff. Nice a quiet corner with great fishing. Even got to see some deer right behind our site. Definitely coming back here again!

We stayed here for a night during the 4th of July holiday and really enjoyed our stay. I wasn't sure what to expect initially, since we didn't book ahead of time and the site is close to town. It turned out to be a really quiet, scenic place. We were able to camp with our tent and motorcycles right next to the water! The owners were very friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Thanks for the stay and great hosting 🙏

This is one the quietest most relaxing Campgrounds I have been to! They have a great little shop within their office! Really nice apparel! Owners were quick to respond to phone calls and very respective! Hard little workers out there! We had full hookup site, minus sewer( this is an option if needed) they also have an on-site dump station. Kayak rentals for the large lake!. And just up the road was ax throwing and a good and cheap pizza spot! We will most definitely be back!! Thank you for the great experience and keeping that place looking as good as it does! Keep up the great work!

Thanks to the folks at Deer Rest - Owners and Campers. We chose this campground for our maiden voyage. The owners were so gracious when our arrival plans didn't quite line up correctly and our camping neighbor was great with advice and help. We had a great weekend.

Absolutely love this place!! We stayed here while in town for a bike race and it was perfect. The owners were very friendly, inviting and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are clean, well maintained and the shower house/restrooms were also very nice and clean. This is very close to the downtown area of Warsaw with cute shops, boutiques and also very close to other outdoor activities such as kayaking, boating, swimming and biking. Highly recommend this campground.

Highly recommend this campground. We have stayed here numerous times and always a great experience. Owners are incredibly helpful and wonderful to deal with. Right on water. Shower house is clean. Nice fire pits.

Excellent campground with the cleanest shower house around! We tent camped, this is mainly an RV park but has a great shaded area for lots of tents also. Right on the water with lots of wildlife around, but also close to any amenities you could need. Very pleasant experience, we will definitely return many times in the future!!

It was lovely and peaceful. What a girl needed for the weekend.

We came in with our camper late on a week night. They sent us pictures of where to park and how to get to our space so that we didn't have to stop and check in late. It worked out perfect for us.

It is a nice, quiet campground. I can see that they are doing lots of upgrading, so don't hesitate to book!

We stayed at Deer Rest Campground this past weekend while we were in Warsaw, MO for a youth mountain bike race held at Truman Lake Mountain Bike Park. The owners are as hospitable as they come and they have made that campground clean, comfortable and welcoming! They even shuttled us downtown for the live music that was going on the evening we were there. Two thumbs up!! Thanks for an amazing camping experience!

Beautiful campground on the river. Convenient location near the interstate and historic downtown Warsaw. Friendly and family owned, quiet, and clean. Our dog even enjoyed it.

Nice and quiet place for us to tent camp for a couple days. We were setup right next to the river and it was very peaceful. Owners were very friendly as well.

Best kept secret in Warsaw, mo. The owner is really nice and will work with you. Aims to please. Clean shower house and restrooms. Reasonable prices. We highly recommend! Rich and Tilly Lacy

We did the sunset kayak tour with Luke & Janelle. The kayaks were easy to maneuver with our little lesson, and Luke did a great job of pointing out different features of the wetlands. The wildlife and gorgeous sunset were a bonus!

I man let me tell you i love this place never been. But it good for camping. will make camping here more in the winter time. when i get my hot tent in make some you tube video there about camping in fishing ya'll. Nica mtbike race stay..Best campground facility and host ever..if there was 10 stars I'd give it to them.
