Rick's Oar House Inn & Marina

We had an amazing breakfast and dinner there on the 3rd. I'm a diabetic and my sugars dropped when we got back from fishing. The wait staff helped me, and they were amazing! We will Definitely be back!

This is a great place to eat, hang out, and work. Rick is an excellent person to work with/for who treats all staff and customers well. The food is amazing and well prepared. The service is spectacular. There's some oars in this house.

Went there my daughter and son-in- law. I met some locals and had some drinks it was a good time. I really enjoyed it.

Awesome clean down home place to relax and have some drinks and excellent food. Employees and community are very warm and welcoming it's a bar and grill with a camper style campground and a handful of cabins for nightly rental. Can be reached by land and water. Nice place I can't say enough about.

Came for all you can eat catfish on Friday night. The people are genuine, the atmosphere is great and the food is amazing! Now that I've found this place I'll be here every chance I get. At least every Friday. 🍻👍👍

Omg! I heard bout this place and it took months for me to ever get here but.. Mom's day 2022 my son surprised me with dinner here! The BEST I had in years!! The service was awesome and the place was clean and different things all over were interesting! And the food was perfect! Front the salad to the dessert worth every enjoyable bite!

The crustacean appetizer was the bomb. Clams, shrimp, and crawfish tails. The view was awesome as well

Had the prime rib dinner. It was so delicious and tender it melt in your mouth. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

We visited Rick's Oar House right off the water when visiting some family on Truman Lake. This was my first experience here and I hope it won't be my last. They had fantastic live music, excellent service, and gorgeous views of the lake! The food was pretty good, the tendorloin and curly fries were fresh and clearly from scratch, which was fantastic! The highlight for me was the incredible service. Our server took great pride in her work and truly loved her job and this family owned business. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!!

I have lived in the area for many years but never went out of the way to go to the old oar house. This weekend we realized what a mistake that was! I give a full 5 stars for the food, atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful hard working owner! I will go back! Meals were cooked to perfection!

This is a place that the locals run to for good steaks, excellent fried fish and a warm and homey atmosphere. Excellent eats, very reasonable and has a beautiful view of the lake from many angles. If you are in this area, take my word for it, you need to make a stop here!

Never been to this end of the lake. Quieter more scenic best of all the people and service was excelent!!!

Love this place. Haven't been here since the 80s and was so excited on a whim during a day trip drive that its still open. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Pleasantly surprised. Let's just say that I wasn't expecting a bad meal when we ventured to the Old Oar House, but I also wasn't expecting one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The potato was baked just right and the green beans were very good with pieces of bacon. We will definitely be going back when we come down to the Lake of the Ozarks again.

New ownership in 2020. The owner and staff are very friendly and much more accommodating. They now sell gas, snacks, drinks, and ice on the dock with gas. The owner also changed the gas hours and said "if we're here we will get you gas" rather than the old policy of shutting down at 5 or 6 each day. Menu looks good and we plan to visit for breakfast and dinner soon. Name should be updated to "Rick's Oar House" with this new owner changing it.
