The Camp At Lake Wappapello

Such a fun fun open air venue!! Very laid back, easy atmosphere. Always great entertainment, we love when there is a live band. We love the opportunity to dance (dance floor in front of stage) Food options: Mexican restaurant on premises or we enjoyed a barbecue from the camp store. Very reasonable drink prices, just a wonderful place to enjoy friends and live music. They had the sides down and outdoor heaters this particular night. So enjoyable throughout the seasons.

We stayed in an RV space. Quick service. Everything you'd want is there. Cute community. Nice to walk around. I would stay there again.

We stay here for two months for the summer and I really like it clean at the people that work there are nice meet this two couples that work there they very nice hope to see them next summer again hopefully.this place over all is 5 Star and I like the band play every Saturday

This campground has everything you could want. A pool, FREE mini golf, a restaurant, a bar, and a great atmosphere! Loved my time there. The people there are extremely nice and treat you like family.

So, this place is incredible. From the customer support and service to the cabin itself. My husband and I drove down here from Alaska and we stayed at several places along the way and this is my only review from the whole trip. Super clean cabin. Great environment and beautiful location. 10/10 if you're visiting Wappapello.

We loved it here. We had a Memorial Service for my brother and had it for family for the Memorial Day Weekend. Several families rented cabins they were fantastic and the big cabi for 15 was the main use it was large enough for our cookout and guest both days. We can not say enough good things about this place we can't wait to visit again. The staff was great, the live music both evenings was an added plus. Thanks so much.

Awesome place everyone is very friendly. The foods good price is decent the store has every thing you need. Me and my siblings had a blast and I'm 14 my sister is 5 and the other is 6 and my brother is 12.So it's fun for any age. I definitely recommended camping here. The cabins are nice fully furnished and the beds have bedsheets on them. They clean everything after each visit.

What a pleasant surprise The Camp was! We found it almost by accident and stayed overnight, the atmosphere was wonderful. A really good band played til late yet there were small kids dancing on the dance floor it was great. Very family friendly. All of the employees were very polite, my kids are already bugging me to go back. DEFINITELY recommend

Loved everything about it. We will go back here again! I wish they advertised more of their amenities so we could have planned to enjoy all they offer but that's the only bad thing I can say. So much to do, great layout, beautiful and well thought out cabins, concert we went to was great!

This place was absolutely amazing. We had a great stay, and the cabins are very nice. You can find everything you need here, and have no reason to leave to go get supplies. There's even a restaurant here, and the main store sells food as well. They have karaoke, bands on the weekends. The pool was a blast, and the kids enjoyed it alot. There's also a bounce house, park, mini golf, etc. The only downside is how popular the place is because they stay very booked up. So I would suggest booking as early as possible or you may end up not being able to get a cabin at all. As far as the camping lots go, I'm sure you can always find one available unless it's a holiday or something. We most definitely will be back.

They had a awesome trunk or treat! My cousins rented a cabin had a water leak they fixed it ASAP! They also brought them 2 pizzas and drinks for the trouble! The people who work there are great! Very clean! They also had a petting zoo mini golf and bounce houses for the kids!

I had not been to the area in quite a few years but was invited over to do a training. I was vnery surprised at all the work that had been done on the area and cabins. My cabin was decorated all in antiques. Very nice, clean, wonderful amenities, pool, playground for the kids. The list of improvements goes on! I certainly won't wait years to go back and take the family. When they found I had a good allergy they made a special pizza just for me! Love this place!

My husband,daughter and i spent my son's 21st birthday at "the camp" for the first time. Scott, and that other gentlemen made my son's birthday , 1 to remember the rest of his life! It's a nice place, clean and just all around fun! We will be returning soon! And the prices are affordable! Thanks for a great time!

Very beautiful venue for any kind of a party! Nice bridal dressing room in the large reception hall across from a real old barn for a wedding ceremony. There is room for 10 or so long tables on each side with room for long food tables down the middle. There was a small wet bar down by the kitchen prep room. Very nice restrooms - ladies room has 3 large stalls. Behind the reception hall is a long area for parking, basically gravel.

Very nice place, good hearted people. Clean shower facilities. Would love to come here again with better planning

Great venue for the wedding we attended Oct 2021. Cabins comfortable and clean. Beautiful wedding chapel and dining hall. Prices competitive!! Parking convenient!

Absolutely beautiful! Lots to do including special events; kid friendly; outdoor pool; great quality bands almost every weekend; Mark Twain National Forest just yards away; the smell of camp fires; golf cart and ATV friendly; close to Lake Wappapello (-2 miles); plenty of space between sites; large, medium and small cabins rent at reasonable prices; GREAT Mexican restaurant on site; pond view sites; and friendly helpful staff! I highly recommend this place!!

We stumbled across The Camp on a Sunday drive. We live nearby and did not even know it existed! We enjoyed a great lunch buffet at the Fireside Resteraunt and then self toured the rest of the property. Can't wait to take advantage of one of those cabins! Perfect place for a family outing!
