Morning Star Inn and Cottage

Super clean - great amenities - PERFECT location if you are going to downtown Hamilton for Missouri Star. Easy to find. Have never been to an AirBNB that was so well maintained in such a small town. We will definitely try to return and definitely refer.

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at the Morning Star Cottage and we definitely are coming back again!
My mom, my aunts and I just love this location and the coziness and space to sew!
I was also glad that I was able to walk to the stores whenever I wanted without having to wait for a ride.
Teresa was beyond helpful and if we ever had a question or suggestion we could count on her to come through and help us out.
All around 5 stars!!!

The rooms are big, perfectly clean & quiet!! The owner Teresa is very personable and nice! We had wonderful food at the bowling alley. Close to Missouri Star.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Teresa was there for anything we needed and was an amazing host. Our room was actually two rooms, with a full kitchen and bath, so basically an apartment! We had two women and two children and there was more than enough room to spread out and relax. The Inn is close to Missouri Star Quilt Shops (in fact we walked downtown one day) and is also within a half mile of a Mexican restaurant and Casey's pizza. Wifi worked perfectly. We will definitely be back!

If you are planning to stop in Missouri Star Quilt Company and need accommodations, you really need to check out Morning Star Inn. Theresa couldn't have been more gracious. We really enjoyed our stay and you are sew close to MSQ!!

Very pleasantly surprised! The owner Teresa met us at the Inn . It was so fun to meet Teresa and benefit from her local knowledge like restaurants etc. What a super lady! The room was very clean and well furnished. We were so glad there were comfortable chairs in the room so we did not have to sit in wooden chairs or lay in bed to relax. Very close to downtown, so we were able to shop-rest-shop some more. Highly recommend this hotel.

A dear friend and I spent three great days with Missouri Star, three other area quilt shops, and The Elms in Excelsior Springs, coming back to Therese’s Morningstar Inn at the end of each day. We couldn’t have asked for better, more comfortable accommodations! I highly recommend booking your stay in Hamilton at Morningstar.

Teressa's hospitality is Gold Star! We only stayed one night -the room was beautifully updated, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Very convenient for shopping at Missouri Star. Cant wait to bring my quilting friends back for a longer stay!

What a great escape to Hamilton, MO. Perfect if you would like to visit Missouri Star Quilting. Very clean, all amenities furnished and easy access to rooms if bringing sewing machines. I can't wait to return.

Nice little place to stay in Hamilton. Just a few blocks from downtown. Teresa was extremely warm and friendly. The room was larger and much more comfortable than an average hotel! Full kitchen, I would absolutely recommend staying here for your visit to Missouri Star Quilt.

The cottage was great! Perfect place and plenty of room for four quilters and their sewing machines. Teressa was super nice and the whole "adventure" to Hamilton and Missouri Star Quilt Co. was everything I hoped it would be.

Our Morning Star Inn room was extremely clean and comfortable. Large room with full kitchen and bath. Teresa is a wonderful host with lots of local knowledge and hints.

MorningStar Inn in Hamilton Missouri is an adorable place to spend the night in the quilting capital of America! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and newly updated! It's in walking distance of the shopping area and restaurants in town! Everyone is so nice and accommodating! I loved my stay and plan to return soon! Highly recommended

Great little small Inn. My wife and I stayed while attending the Missouri Star Academy (2019). Room was very clean and neat. The owner, Teresa, was very nice and keeps a wonderful little place. Highly recommend if you are ever visiting the area. Very reasonable prices as well.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of all the stores of Missouri Quilt company and museums.

Accommodations are very wonderful. Very clean. We came for the quilt stores and found that our room was comfortable, clean, spacious. Felt secure. Inn keeper was attentive and gracious. Highly recommend this place when visiting this town.

The room we stayed in was very cute and clean. It had everything you would get a normal hotel place but the owner met you on your way in and she was so polite and sweet. We only stayed a night and it was chilly but the place had proper heating. It was a wonderful stay will definitely book again.

Absolutely unique in lots of ways, all good. The owner’s main concern was our comfort and could not have been more accommodating and kind. The room is clean, well arranged and comes with pampering, Hamilton, MO style!
