Hawley Farm Glamping

Enjoyed an incredible experience at Hawley Farm! Donna and Doug are such welcoming hosts and they made us feel special and at home. The quiet, clean, peaceful glamping site was refreshing to the soul! I felt rejuvenated and had a great time! I would highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

Our first Glamping adventure and boy was it fun! Beautiful facility, the FRIENDLIEST owners, well manicured grounds, a litter slice of heaven for a weekend. Highly recommend!!

We spent two nights at Hawley Farm with some very particular goals: a restful time after a busy month at work, a private and romantic time to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and memorable and beautiful place for solitude and soaking in God's creation. Everything about our stay was perfect. There are so many things I could mention: napping through rainy mornings in our cozy dry tent, to watching a glorious sunset from the field overlooking the pond, the peaceful seclusion of feeling like you have the entire place to yourself, and the helpful and friendly services Donna provided, and the ease of sneaking into nearby towns for lunch and dinner (we had no time to plan or pack food although we would have enjoyed the grill at our camp site if we had time to plan ahead). It rained most of the time we were there, which meant we sat over the covered porch that extended out the front of our tent and listened to the birds chirping as we watched the rain roll over the field and cascade through the trees. It was an unhurried, happy time that we will always be thankful for.

Hawley Farms is gem! Donna and Doug provide such a great atmosphere and it’s so close to KC. The campsites are very clean and they are so accommodating. The bathrooms are the cleanest outside bathrooms I’ve ever been in, including the port-a-potty. I had a long weekend there with some friends and I have already booked the next weekend. I’m not a super outdoorsy person and I loved it so much! I’m looking forward to the next glamping weekend. Thank you so much Donna and Doug!

I can't say enough good things about Hawley Farm Glamping. Donna's hospitality was so wonderful. The peace that comes to the soul simply from sitting in the beauty of nature is far beyond what words can comprehend. Add to that the lovely accommodations... you won't be disappointed.

Words cannot express the unexpected beauty of the Hawley Farms glamping site. Even in pouring down rain, the beauty of this farm, will take your breath away. The glamping sites are rustic, yet manicured private camping sites that cater to your every need. We stayed in Big Bear this weekend. It was a surprise birthday gift for my friend who thought we were headed to a hotel! She said over and over this is was the best surprise ever! We felt like we were on a secluded ranch where camping was truly glamping! Our yert was adorable, cozy and full of natural light. We sat by the fire pit and titki torches that the owners Donna and Doug lit for us. Talk about beautiful!! The owls were hooting, the frogs were chirping and the birds were singing. It was heavenly! The owners have created a site where every detail from torches, to seating, to candles in the trees created an ambiance that cannot be found anywhere else. We are already looking at dates to come back again with the husbands, asap!

I wish you could leave more than 5 stars... we stayed in Juliette and absolutely loved it. After walking the trails and seeing the other two glamp sites I 100% plan on returning and giving either HIllside or Big Bear a try! All are special in their own way. Absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back... which will be happening as soon as I can get on their schedule! haha

This was such a fun little retreat for my husband & I! Such great hosts! We stayed at the big bear yurt & the whole glamping experience was SO relaxing! Would totally recommend.

We celebrated my friend’s bachelorette party this weekend and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Hawley Farms! Doug & Donna were so accommodating from the second we pulled in—they had a nice cooler full of beverages waiting for us. We rented out the whole place and we had absolutely everything that we needed. It was so nice to wake up to breakfast every morning. They even spent the afternoon with us floating in the pond. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back.

Hands down, best outdoor experience we’ve had! We had never heard of “Glamping” before, but if you like camping and having the red carpet rolled out for you THIS IS THE PLACE!! Doug and Donna were absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for better hosts..! We will certainly be returning!

Overall, absolutely thrilled with my glamping experience at Hawley Farm! We rented to place for a bachelorette weekend. Doug and Donna are the most hospitable hosts. The pond is clean and a great way to cool off after a hike on the well groomed Guy’s Loop. 10/10 recommend going on their scavenger hunt-no matter your age! Find the swing, you won’t be disappointed. The happy hour deck is great for gathering and catching a nice breeze. We were well looked after with plenty of freedom to roam. Again, an excellent experience.

This place is a gem! Donna and Doug made this a memorable experience! I visited last weekend for a sister's trip and had a great time. Everything is as beautiful as advertised on the website. This is a perfect place to recharge, reflect and relax. I would absolutely recommend Hawley Farm to anyone looking to embrace the outdoors and get back to the simple life even if only for a few days!

We had a fabulous stay at Hawley Farm last summer for my sister’s bachelorette. The grounds are beautiful as are the tents. Everything is meticulous! Donna and Doug went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful weekend. Highly recommend to anyone!

We did a business retreat at Hawley Farm. It is such a beautiful setting, and the hosts Doug and Donna were so helpful and gracious. I got to stay at Big Bear in the yurt. It was so beautiful and comfortable. What a peaceful weekend—highly recommend.

My daughter(almost 16yrs old) and I needed some great us time. We went with no phones,no electronics and actually got dropped off. This being on purpose to stay there and not be tempted to go shopping or site seeing.Totally secluded from all the stress and hustle of the real world. Donna and Doug made this so easy for us. We were able to disconnect and actually pay attention to eachother. We enjoyed true family time.We played games,cards, coloring books,hikes and actually talked.It was an adventure and such amazing detail around ever corner. Donna and Doug are amazing people and truly heaven sent. We will be back soon and look forward to new adventures we discussed.I can not thank you both enough for your understanding and unbelievable hospitality. Hawley Farms is a place for everyone to experience!

I had the best experience with Hawley Farm Glamping! Not only was the property was clean and well managed, but the owners we so generous and attentive. They built our fire every and has coffee ready for us every morning. One night it poured down rain on us and they cane by to make sure we had everything we needed, including fresh clean towels to dry everything off. I would highly recommend Hawley Farm Glamping and am looking forward to visiting again in the future!!

This was the most magical time we have ever had. First, don't let the rain stop you or worry you! It rained on Friday and we felt like kids again in the tent, listening to the rain fall while playing games. We had a covered porch so we sat out on the porch while listening to the rain and fell into deep conversation. The environment pulls you into reconnecting with the people around you and nature. The ambiance is beyond magical and the tents are perfectly tucked away to make you feel like you are in a story-book setting. Doug and Donna made your experience as perfect as it could have been. They were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We would have missed out on the 30 foot swing and incredible sunset hike if it weren't for them!!! We WILL be back again and again and again. Thank you for the INCREDIBLE breakfasts, tasty s'mores, and the most unforgettable experience!

Such an amazing Experience and truly a special place. Donna and Doug are the most wonderful loving and kind couple you could possibly imagine. They work so hard to make sure everything is running smoothly and it shows. Make sure to get yourself a spot at this hidden oasis in the great state of Missouri!!!

My 3 kids (21, 19, 16) and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hawley Farms! Our site at Juliette was cozy, clean and nestled in the trees. We had the pleasure of sitting on the happy hour porch with Donna, who is now "aunt Donna", we could have talked with her for hours! She and Doug have created a glamping get away that exudes peace, relaxation, soaking in nature and feelings of unwinding and slowing down. With the campfire lit for us, tiki torches all around the site, a comfortable bed, plenty of blankets, pillows, breakfast delivery, it's a camping delight! We enjoyed hiking the beautiful acreage, dinner under the trees at our site, s'mores, stories at the campfire, playing cornhole, watching the sunset on the happy hour deck and incredible stargazing! We were blessed that Donna's cousin, astronmy expert and great guy, brought his expensive telescope to the farm that night and mesmerized us with his knowledge of astronomy showing us Jupiter, Saturn, constellations and much more! Sipping Sirah under the stars and learning about the night sky was a wonderful end to a great day!
In the morning we sat on our deck with the breakfast basket Donna had delivered, before one last hike. None of us were quite ready to leave and talked about our next visit to see Donna and Doug and stay at Hawley Farms!

We had a great time at Hawley Farms. The accommodations were private and comfortable. The hosts were fun, entertaining and a joy to be around. There are a lot of activities if that's what your looking for or you can just sit back and enjoy the natural beauty. We will definitely come back in the near future.
