Orleans Trail Group Camp

This is a wonderful spot for a group camping experience. It is always very well taken care of and very accessible. It also has very nice scenery.

We took a group of kids over for a few days. It's shady and a nice private place to camp. Fairly flat terrain and most of the campsites are together in one area with a few spaced out around the loop. For our group, it was hard to allow kids to swim at the campground due to the trees planted along the shore for fish cover. They do serve their purpose though because my son caught some fish along the bank. We bussed our kids to the beach to swim. There are a lot of rocks and sticks, not as many grassy areas as some of the group camp sites. Still, it worked for what we needed. The 2 flushing bathrooms were an appreciated upgrade.

Great place to swim and fish! We enjoyed seeing the ⛵ s going in and out of the cove! Camp sites were wonderful too!

Relaxing place on the lake for a large group, restrooms were clean, basically private large boat launch near by
