I have two daughters (3 & 2 year old) who attend Morning Star and I have seen a huge growth in my children! My daughters are sociable and they are learning new things everyday. I was shocked that my youngest can count to 20 with no issues! I also noticed an increase in my oldest communication skills (she always wants to talk to daddy 😁😁) The staff is amazing and they truly care about our children! They have an open ear to listen to any concerns that we may have and they are willing to work with us. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their kids!!

My daughter (almost 7 months old) has been enrolled here since she was about 6 weeks old. So far, we have loved having her here! The staff are SO nice and I love how positive the atmosphere is. My favorite part is definitely getting daily pictures of her, it helps me feel a lot more at peace knowing she’s still getting one-on-one attention and she seems so happy. Her face lights up whenever she sees her teachers! I can’t recommend Morning Star enough!

My daughter and son both go to morning star academy, they love it! They get feed great food, great environment. They go outside at least once a day! And the most important thing about morning star is that they teach your kids about god and how to pray before meals and bed time! If you need a great place to depend on morning star academy is it!

My son has been attending Morning Star for 2.5 years and our newborn just started. The teachers are all amazing and listen to any concerns we may have. They use Brightwheel to log activities throughout the day and communicate with us. We love being able to keep up with their days though Brightwheel.

Morning Star has been such a blessing to my family! I have a toddler and a baby enrolled into the daycare. I have really appreciated the professionalism and attention to detail from all of the staff and directors. They make education fun & provide a safe environment for kids! My oldest child has a dairy allergy, and they are very attentive to that and diligent in providing meals that he can safely eat.
I also stayed home with my boys but started working full time which was a hard transition for me. However, Morning Star Academy has made it a very easy transition! It is so comforting and gives me a peace of mind to know that when I drop my children off, they will be well taken care of the way that I, myself, would take care of them. It’s also really cool how they use this app called Brightwheel where the teachers diligently update all of the meals, activities, and education lessons that my kids participated in through the whole day. They can also send me photos and videos of my kids through the day which is really nice because it makes me feel like I am right there with them and get to see how much fun they are having! I am very thankful for everything they are teaching my children! My oldest is becoming so advanced in learning because of his teacher. I can’t say enough good things about them! Thank you, thank you!!!

Our two youngest sons graduated from Morning Star and they had a great experience. They loved the former Director and they love Emma. The facilities are great and there is plenty of space for the kids to grow and have fun. Highly recommend.

My 2 year old loves coming to school here. And my 10 month old is jumping out of her car seat when we arrive in the morning. We have never really had any issues here at all. We really enjoy it.

This program and facility has been completely redone in our time at Morning Star. It not only looks amazing but the communication app helps me feel connected during the day. It tracks her eating, diapering, sleep, and allows staff to securely send me picture updates. My daughter began attending at 2 months old (mid pandemic) and I was so nervous. Staff made me feel reassured by frequent communication and we quickly felt at home. My daughter fell in love with her teacher Ms. McKenzie and has thrived during the past 14 months she has been there. I’ll add that my girl is very shy and does not warm up to just anyone. She now has Ms. Linda who loves those babies like her own. We highly recommend Morning Star! Please disregard reviews from years back because the program is under entirely different management and 100% different.

My daughter has gone here since she was 3 months old and we've had only 1 issue with a teacher who is no longer there. We love it even though we aren't going to the church or affiliated with any church, and the Director is super friendly and gets to know all of the children's names which makes them feel important.
They have nutrition class, a small jungle gym, Chapel on Wednesdays and occasional zoo animal visits!
Very social with their Brightstart app, so I love seeing pictures of my daughter doing activities and playing. You can also check in your kids on the app as well if you're in a hurry.
Only downside is that they have limited hours or are closed for Nixa school's spring break and 1-2 weeks before the Nixa school year starts. They are out of school for major holidays and Nixa school snow days- they are great about posting fliers and making posts on the Brightstart app.

My son started in January and everyone has been so kind and caring, I love that this day care is jesus centered and he gets a bible story everyday as well as his letters, colors and animals. All the teachers and administrators have been wonderful!!

Found this place when I was in dire need of somewhere to take my son. I was skeptical due to the reviews but I learned quickly how much changed since those reviews. Here we are 2 years later and my son still continues to learn and grow somewhere that everyone knows his name and isn’t just a number. The building needs some updates but nothing that put my child into harms way.

The best thing we did for our kids was to get them out of this unorganized, chaotic mess, poorly run "childcare facility" as soon as we could and we did. We had three amazing teachers: Amber, Linda, and Brandi. If you get those teachers and the "directors" would allow them to be consistently with your child you can at least know they are being loved. If you would like more information about our experience you can contact me directly. If this was my church I would not want to associated with this daycare....it would be shut down. My opinion only based on our personal experiences.

Very racist , unprofessional staff. My nephew is the only child of color at the whole location, Something happen to him at the school which caused him to have a black eye at the school , all because of the staff wasn’t paying attention. He went home for the day which was a Friday , returning back Monday his mother ask for video, she was told she can’t see it. Right there you know they are hiding something because why is it so hard to run a video clip back of a dangerous accident. Then the staff everyday since then has came up with something like he is being aggressive, which this kid is no way sort of way aggressive, now a little boy he is. The staff act like the child has a behavioral problem since the accident happened, finally today they said he couldn’t come back. My nephew is the only child of color which I think played a big factor in the situation.

I was not too happy when I toured this daycare. I had high hopes and want my daughter to be in a Christian/church daycare so I walked in expecting to enroll my child. During the tour I explained that my daughter has a sever nut allergy and that she cannot be around nuts or her throat swells shut. The lady showing me around said that was no problem. That they would just sit my child at a different table by herself away from everyone else everyday as they eat peanut butter and just give her something else ...... ABSOLUTELY NOT! To isolate my child away from others because she has an allergy? And then still serve it!? I don't think so. I explained how I thought that was wrong and she stayed with that idea and explained that's all that they could do. ... At that point my tour was over. I was very disappointed. The teachers seemed nice and the facility wasn't bad. But if they don't understand the seriousness of a sever allergy, I will not leave my child there.

Horrible place and horrible people work there. Please don’t let your kids be exposed to this negative environment. My poor son was barley there 2 hours into his very first day of preschool. I was informed by 3 people that it would be okay and they would help him adjust with his first day away from the home. Then I get a call at 10am after I dropped him off at 8am and they only told me that he wasn’t listening to the teacher and was not welcome back because of that. After 25 years of experience you would think they could handle a child not listening. That’s still the only thing they said to me when I called back to ask why. Unprofessional. I’ve worked childcare and this is not the proper way to handle a misbehaving child. Now he is even more upset and so am. I feel so sorry for even sending him there.
