Shelter Insurance - Michelle Pender

Just want to give a shout out to Shelter insurance we were treated very very good. We had a major storm. Come through and damaged the roof siding on two houses I gave Shelter a call. They were out within a week or so and took care of everything. It was simple and easy and didn’t have to worry about anything. I absolutely love when things go simple and easy.

Excellent agency! Michelle is genuine, kind and understanding. Nice to have an agent who wants to know their clients and has that small town feel.

I had storm damage from a recent storm. Took down some big tree's, some fencing, and damaged my roof. I called my insurance agent and received a really fast response. Someone came out and surveyed the damage and recommended some great companies to repair my roof and take care of the tree's and fence repair. The roof was replaced right away. I am very pleased with the fast response and professional way everything had been taken care of. No problems at all.

I rarely take time to leave a review but really appreciate the time and care Michelle, Julie and the rest of their staff take to keep their clients protected and safe. They are quick to respond and give you personal treatment. I really appreciate these ladies and their professional skills at navigating the tricky world of insurance- they make it easy and affordable!

Shelter Insurance has been an amazing company to work with. Anytime I have a need, they are quick to answer questions, take action, get the ball rolling, and quickly respond if a call is missed or an email is sent.

The roof was inspected and according to the inspector, there were numerous pop-up nails, some missing shingles. He didn't find significant hail or wind damage on my almost 19 year old roof. Have no idea of the lifetime warranty on this roof, so a second opinion is in the works, as many of my neighbors whose homes were built the same year, 2003, have has new roofs installed in 2021 and 2020. One had significant water damage and one had dents from hail. I have lots of grit in my splash blocks but no leaks.

Every so often people shopping for insurance would do themselves a favor by looking at companies that don't spend ungodly amounts of money advertising ! Shelter insurance is well know but not for extravagant bouncey flashy commercials. The attraction is the cost savings .My experience seemed like working with down home folks . Thanks
