So thankful for our local vet clinic and their wonderful team!! My girl Irene is in such good hands!!

They fit me in cuz I had an emergency, I had to have my 20 year old male cat put to sleep. And they walked me through the process because I've never done that before. They also let me charge it I've been a customer there before cuz I had ran off and forgot my wallet. It wasn't a great day but they were helpful. Especially after the 2 other vets close to me and said to make an Appointment even after they knew his history and me being a customer at one before. You will be missed Pete, but at least your not in any pain now. 😢

I have never had a bad experience here. What a great team of caring people. They are sensitive to both pet and owner. I'm very grateful for the care these wonderful folks provide!

The staff here are very friendly. The front desk was very helpful and kind. The vet was very knowledgeable and thorough. The place is very nice inside as well. My dog had to have surgery on his ear, and they gave me lots of ideas and instructions to help his recovery. All for a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

The doctors and staff took care of my dog for almost 14 years. They have compassion and love for animals. I had to say good bye to my little dog last Friday and as sad as it was, they were all very loving and comforting to my dog and myself.

The vet was extremely helpful and kind when my family and I had to bring our cat. He did such a good job.

I live 40 minutes away but I brought my cat here because they were able to get her in within a few days (instead of 6 weeks where I live). The staff has been amazing and friendly. They are always efficient and are great to my kids when they are with me. My cat is doing great after their care and I will definitely be back!

I don't give 5 star reviews very often. This place helped our farm when I was growing up and my husband and I use them for our dogs. Always helpful. Friendly staff. One young lady made friends with our female dog by offering her cheese....they may be friends for life now! Over all they are very courteous and would recommend them to others.

Love this place. They take care of our farm animals as well as our indoor dog. They don’t jack up the prices or give unnecessary treatments like other places. The vet explains all the treatment options and gives prices up front. Highly recommend!

8 years old and finally a vet staff that could help me with his yeast. They were remarkable at dealing with my mean boy. Hands down best vet around within miles

Dr Potter was wonderful.  I put my best friend and protector to sleep two days ago. It's been the Hardest thing I've ever done.  Mr Reese was a 12yr CaneCorso/Pitmix with cancer. I drove from Chicago to our family farm and had called to request a vet come out to put him to sleep. I didn't want Mr Reese to end up in an ER and have to do it on a cold steel table in Chicago. And he Loved visiting the farm, who wouldn't it sooo beautiful.  He passed with my mom, sister and youngest nephew all around him feeling loved. It was fast and peaceful (Except for me sobbing)  This is a heartache I've never felt before and will never forget. Thank you Dr Potter for showing kindness and compassion during my most difficult time. I'm still crying and praying I did the right thing.

Everyone is so helpful, polite, and respond quickly on emergencies. They are the best! I definitely recommend that you give them a try. But...never forget, they are human too, they love fur babies just as much as we do, if not more. So, if God forbid your loved one don't pull through, it sure as heck isn't because they didn't try...they bend over backwards to help. They work very difficult hours, and grieve just like everyone else. Sure, I'm not going to like the price sometimes, but they need to make a living too, and at times, it is out of their control with the cost of meds rising like everything else. And I do trust them with my babies, so remember them, they are always wanting to help...I for one want to thank each of you for everything you have done, are doing, and future visits I'm sure I will need.

This place is great! All of the people that work there are very personalble, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Always so sweet and attentive! Earlier this year we had to put our senior dog down and Dr. Stroupe was so caring and supportive. She even sent a sympathy card to our home. Recently had one of our dogs spayed and Dr. Stroupe called to let me know my pet was out of surgery and doing well. Very positive experiences all around and we will continue to take our pets here. Thanks for the great service in our small town!

I have been taking my deaf boxer/pit mix to Dr. Stroupe for quite a while, and I have taken Brownie to see both Dr. Stroupe and Dr. Potter. Both are wonderful, caring veterinarians who take the time to listen to any concerns/problems I may have regarding this wonderful dog that has enriched our family. They are so open to any questions, and take the time to explain what is going on with her. I really appreciate this with both of these vets. Their entire staff is great, and I appreciate Howard County Veterinary Service so much, they are good, honest caring individuals whom I entrust my precious dog's health to. An A++ business.

Expensive but wonderful and they treat my pets great.

All of the people at Howard Co Vet are very attentive and compassionate about the care they deliver and the way that they interact with their clients. We have been bringing our pets here for 13 years and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that we receive.

Wonderful service loved them and miss their services but we moved. The staff is so loving and energetic.
