Great owner! I’m a huge breakfast person, so if there’s a place that appeases my taste 24/7 or their respectful hours… Ken’s is the place for me and anyone like me! The other food is amazing also, they have one of the best catfish alive… or cooked…. (In the picture is the Scramble Platter 10/10 the burrito is rated the same also!!!)

First time in the area drove by seen a bunch a cars around the place and decided to stop in. Glad we did the catfish was fantastic and service was exceptional. Heading home Sunday morning made a pit stop for breakfast and wasn't disappointed great food and great employees.

We had a great experience at Kens Kafe. The food was really good and the service was very friendly. It was a little busy when we were there, but everything came out quickly. We had the appetizer sampler and chose the fried pickles, onion rings,and Broccoli cheddar bites. For the main course, we had the all you can eat catfish, chicken fried steak, and Philly cheese steak sandwich. All was cooked really well, especially the catfish, we all tried it and were really impressed! We had the Dutch apple pie for dessert which you could tell was homemade. We will definitely be back next time we drive out to Lake Stockton.

Excellent food and priced accordingly! HUGE PLATES OF FOOD!! The pancake was wider than our 6 yr olds body. He barely made a dent...LOL. Definitely worth the drive from Carl Junction/Joplin area. Highly recommended especially if heading to Stockton Lake as its right next door!!

Went and tried Ken's Cafe today, and I'm glad we did. The service was top-notch, and the food was fantastic. I had the patty melt, and my husband had the hot ham and cheese sandwich. The chip is sliced potatoes thinly sliced, and fried brings back memories of our childhood. But the best part was eating lunch with Nancy Brown. She worked at Ken's making pies. She will be 95 in Dec 2023, and listening to her stories were wonderful. It's a must stop if you're in the area or passing by.

At first glance we were not sure we had arrived at the restaurant. But then something told us there were many cars parked close to it for a reason. Then I read this little sign by the front door! Then the prographer in me just could not sit still. Long story short, people are welcoming, the service and food was excellent. We would definitely have another meal there and try a slice of their homemade pies! Ken and his brother treated us like we were old friends. Oh, that's right, we're old now!

Wonderful food! A great find if you’re in the area be sure to stop in. It won’t disappoint. Huge servings and cooked to perfection.

Came in for breakfast to go on Father's Day. Very nice little diner. We will be back. Uncle Brett lives near by and we will definitely be back.

Some freinds and I rode up on our bikes and stopped in at Kens Cafe ..great food big portions good prices you won't leave hungry Cameron was our waitress she was awesome and super nice....all 8 of us will be back for sure

This cafe has top notch fresh cooked food. The presentation is outstanding and the taste is even better. The prices are the best I've seen and this will be our new stop everytime.

Ken's is a little bit of home away from home. We found the place almost by accident (yes there really is a restuarant there). There has not been a time we visited when we were not thrilled with the food. Extremelly good food and plenty of it. The people we have met there were so friendly. Every time we go in it seems we make friends. We go at least once a week. It is definitley one of our favorite places. Especially the fried catfish is a show stopper. But so is the loin.

I ordered their pork chop breakfast with a side of biscuit and gravy and all of it was amazing. The staff was really nice and down home. And they literally got our food cooked between 5 to 10 minutes of ordering. Also the atmosphere inside was nice and they got rough sawn oak boards on the walls and that looks real pretty.

Great little place, very good food and always made to feel like family. If you're in the area and hungry go to Ken's and enjoy

Excellent service and very good food!

The food was delicious! The catfish filet was seasoned perfectly! The prices are reasonable, portions are spot-on, the restaurant is clean and really inviting, the staff is kind and helpful. Great food, great service! We will be back!!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It's on a tiny little town neat Stockton Lake, MO. Must stop when near!!
