Nice trail. It’s late March so all the oaks and other deciduous trees haven’t filled in but there are plenty of stunning pines to look at. The lack of foliage really allowed to see the cool views of the hollows. Lots of fun rock formations on pikes hollow. Saw it described as rugged online but I thought it was a pretty decent trail, not to difficult if you enjoy some ups and downs. The paths are very well marked. The connecting trail is nice if you get out a little later in the day or want to make a shorter trip of it. The toilet facilities and picnic table at the trail head look brand new. Can’t wait to see what the next phase is for the park. The whole area is beautiful and worth exploring.

Our brand new State Park, I was here the weekend if it's opening. This is a novice friendly trail to hike, well blazed and "easy" walking. Roughly 4.5 miles. This trail with a viewing platform is phase 1 for this park. Get up and take it outside. DO IT!!!

FUN! FUN! FUN! Great Place to Hike! Had a blast with Annie, my beagle. Well marked trails- clean, easy to get to. Pretty quiet when I went- late summer time

An excellent hiking trail, about 6 miles and good inclines for a moderate to serious hiker. It's a great length for a day-hike. There are two 2 loops, which is very well planned out. We did Loop #1, ate lunch at the car, and then did loop #2. Very convenient. Also, there is a great, detailed map at the trail head, which I have found is something not all hiking spots have. We often drive down from Kansas City to the Ozarks, and this hike is one of our favorites.

The park was easy to get to. The 3 trails were Varying in difficulty. It was an all-round good hike. Great rock features and rare plants. My wife and I will hike here often.

It's actually a pretty good state park. Has a tiny waterfall but not much. The park would be alot better if it had some trails for biking hopefully they make some of those l.

Great little park so far. It's a very beautiful area with a nice diversity of different oaks and shortleaf pines. Still a lot of room to expand and develop trails.

The 4.5 mile trail is wide enough and challenging enough. There are some great views.

It's a new state park, but not really much there. I hiked the 4.5-mile trail and thought it would be nice with off as many of the views were obacured. It's definitely not worth going out of your way for, but it's definitely secluded

The ribbon will be cut to this area of woods this week.
Nothing like a ribbon being cut for an area of woods.
As if it wasn't nature to begin with. Lol
