Arbor House Country Inn

Every time I come to visit the owner is super accommodating. I absolutely love the cottage house and the gift baskets hit the spot every time.
The coffee is great and the Coffee Shop around the corner is a great stop within walking distance.
Family , business or hunting this place is top notch.

The rooms are beautiful beds are relaxing. Beautiful fruit basket the owners very sweet lady. I recommend anybody to come here. You have everything you need here. I will absolutely be back again .. it is very quiet here. Thank you for letting me stay . Tammy from Michigan

Owner is so nice. Rooms are super clean. No dust. Room has lots of extras. Owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Grounds are very clean. Very peaceful. I love the snack/breakfast baskets waiting in our room.

What a wonderful find for our stay in the Jamesport, Missouri area. We spent two nights here and we had such a relaxing time each evening after exploring the countryside. The host is exceptional. Our room was clean and just about anything you might need was provided in the room. A large bowl of juice, fruit, crackers, and cheese was in the refrigerator on our arrival and it was very tasty. The beach themed decor of our room was delightful and it seemed my eyes were always catching new details throughout our stay.
We chose a room without much wood detail, my wife is very sensitive to environmental odors and chemicals. The room was very compatible with my wife's issues. All the cleaning products and toiletries were also very much NON-triggering for my wife's sensitivities. This is a very nice touch.

It can be very difficult finding nice clean accommodations in rural small town America. This place hit 5 stars on all the important notes. It was clean, had plenty of space, and the welcome basket was a very nice and thoughtful touch. I should also mention, lots of off street parking as well.
The bathrooms had disposable tooth brushes, razors, and many other necessary toiletries provided which was greatly appreciated.

I would certainly recommend this place for families or even someone that just wants a quiet getaway.

This inn went above and beyond anything any of us expected. Clean room! Thoughtful amenities. Wonderful location, you can walk to main st in jamesport.
Room was top notch. We stayed in the rustic suite. One king bed, one queen bed (in seperate room) and a loft with a double bed. Table chairs, and fridge and microwave, satellite tv. Books and vhs tapes to watch. Bean bag chairs for the kids to sit in. Honestly this place is perfect.

Nice spacious and clean rooms. Wonderful atmosphere with outdoor amenities including bbq area, seating areas with tables. Absolutely love the owner. Super friendly and inviting. We are extremely happy we chose to stay here. Also the community is very friendly and hospitable. Love, Love, Love it here! This is a must visit destination... Do not miss this beautiful community 😍

Country homey feel. Decorated very nice, clean, safe, and no bugs. Quiet, beds are very comfortable, owner is super nice and helpful. Refrigerator always has a big bowl of fruit, cheeses, candy, crackers, juice, water, and other goodies! I love it here and highly recommend staying here! It's close to everything in the town too.

Just returned from a delightful trip to Jamesport, MO
We stayed at Arbor House Country Inn. I would say it was the best Inn as far as comfort, very cozy and quiet that we have visited in a long time.
I loved the bright quilts. Really a cute room not the normal boring hotel look.
There were many movies if interested.
Most of all Marie the owner was delightful. Very friendly, plenty of smiles.
We have never had such a huge yummy Welcome basket. I'd go back just for the cinnamon rolls!
If we do return we might go in cooler weather to try out her new fire pit!

We stayed in The Doddy House over the weekend and it was absolutely perfect! So quiet and serene. Truly hope to make it a place we go often. The little doggies were a great homey touch too! Couldn't recommend it more!

Our family of seven enjoyed our visit to The Cottage, which is a four-bedroom home. The owners were very kind and accommodating, and we appreciated the nice, extra touches, from the gift basket upon arrival to the firewood placed next to the wood-burning stove. We would definitely like to stay again!

room was very clean and cozy and decorated beautifully. A basket of assorted goodies was in the room with homemade cinnamon rolls too. Would stay here every time I come to town. Well worth the money. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would.

My sister-in-law and I spent a wonderful evening at the Arbor House Inn. The Inn is under new ownership and our stay was so comfortable. We had the Prairie Rose Room which had one Queen bed and one Day bed so we each had our own sleeping area. We arrived a little early and our hostess, Marie, greeted us and let us check in early so that we could drop our luggage off and continue shopping in Jamesport. The room was clean, quaint and so comfortable. We received a welcome basket with cinnamon rolls, cheese, crackers, fruit, root beer. and sweets. We were told at check in that this would be our breakfast if we liked and there was plenty of food for snacks. This was perfect for our breakfast and the cinnamon rolls were delicious. We spent the evening in the patio, deck area listening to the soft sound of the wind chimes sitting amid several beautiful baskets of flowers. We enjoyed Marie's company and talking with her when she wasn't busy with chores. We happened to also meet her mother, Mary, when we took a tour through and Amish house and farm. They were both such delightful kind people.
A previous post mentioned barking dogs in the neighborhood. They must have resolved that issue as we did not hear any barking during our stay. They are continuing to make improvements updating the outside area. We wished we would have spent more of our week at the Arbor House Inn but had already made reservations in Cameron. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely quiet Inn. Well kept room off the "beaten path." Owner Marie is a wonderful woman. Respected our privacy yet knew she was here.

Fabulous room with a fabulous hostess. Marie was the kindest hostess and you could tell her Inn is her passion. Comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere and the goodies in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Will be calling Marie for another reservation next time we are in the Jamesport area.

What a wonderful place to stay!! Welcome basket was full of fresh fruit and very tasty... Room is fantastic!!! Feels like home.. We have the "Rustic" room.. I do believe all rooms are theme rooms... Our room has a nice room kind of upstairs with a little tv of their own for game consoles and whatever..
WI-FI and Dish network HD, DVD&VCR COMBO with movies in room or bring your own from home.. The owner is a very friendly and wonderfully fun person!! Very much enjoyed our stay, so much we canceled reservations elsewhere and stayed here!! Beautiful, warm, and home!!! 👍👍

I've stayed at the Arbor House several times and it was great except the last time I stayed there a year ago, there were dogs barking all night outside our window but I see that the owner posted that the dogs were gone. What a relief! I'm going to try to get a room there after Christmas when I stop to visit an Amish friend of mine. Great place! And the owner is a nice guy too!

I would give this place a 10 if I could. It is the nice rooms you are ever going to find. It is a nice quiet location but still in town. Owner was very nice and friendly. Has plenty of sitting room on the deck.

The Arbor Inn is like home away from home. Our parents live in nearby Trenton and we stay at Arbor Inn when we visit from Virginia. Our room is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities of a metropolitan area and the charm of a lovely
Amish community. Marie is a fabulous inn keeper.
