H & M Country Store

A lovely Mennonite run country store with local produce and more. I bought goat milk soap and a little iced pretzel in autumn colours.

This Amish run market (located next to the Fabric Barn) was a clean and well stocked local market. In addition the only place we visited in Jamesport that had a public restroom. A huge section of candy, baked good, spices, mixes of all kinds, cheese and soda. There was also a great selection of knives, kitchen supplies, essential oils and soaps. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Visiting from out of state. My local Airbnb host recommended checking out jamesport. I'm glad I did. It's about a 30 minute drive from Hamilton Missouri. H& M has an excellent selection of everyday pantry staples.

I wanted to buy one of everything but decided I better not. I managed to get a few different jams, a pecan pumpkin butter, which by the way is out of this world. Added that to some Amish bread that I bought at the bakery and one of the best things I've ever eaten.

The thing I like about this store is you can buy their seasoning mixes. I bought some garlic bread seasoning as well as some pizza seasoning. Canned fruits, pumpkin and apple butters, jams. Almost anything you can think of.

Now that I know about this place, when I go back I will be stocking up!

Their prices are also fantastic. They aren't trying to price gouge you. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

A wonderful Amish store with fresh breads, fruit, trail mix, soda pop varieties. Friendly people. 1 restroom they allow public to use.

The place is just loaded with great items for cooking and baking along with wonderful goodies!

This place is amazing! I’m glad I got to go. Their food is wonderful, the people their are really nice. When I was there I bought a cookbook, what I found inside really brought more joy to my day. The cook book was called (harvest of blessings) if you want great cooking ideas and great advice from God this is the book to get. Thank you to the people who have made this book and may you be blessed every day!

Always stop here 6-10 times a year. Fresh local produce in season. Yummy samples. Sweet people who run the place who go out of their way to provide what you are looking for. Things for your kitchen like pans and cookie cutters, farm fresh eggs, cheeses and butter. Don't miss this store. It has the "personal" touch. Prices are great!

Good supplies and a really nice Amish store! I enjoyed this place, made me think of the small town USA. The Breads and cinnamon rolls were great! I could have ate there all day... A must stop location if you are near there.

Amazing selection of spices, candy, dry goods. Only place I can find jet black cocoa for baking! One of my favorite stops in Jamesport!

Shelves always fresh and full. Loved buying in bulk. Friendly place. Smells always bring you back to Grandma's kitchen. Wish we had one in SD now that we moved away. Miss the special kindness.

Very friendly. Wonderful workers. We always find lots of homemade breads, jams, salsas, and cheeses that we have to have. There is a lot of one of kind things that you don't find in the city.

My favorite Amish bulk food store. They have a wide variety dry ingredients including gluten free, as well as many sugar-free options.

Wide variety of spices, noodles, flour, candy, and cheese. During September they offer a wide variety of apples! There is also a variety of cappuccino and teas to pick from. Jelly, jam, honey, and relish are locally made and are amazing!!

Their homemade spices are out of this world. I always buy the homemade pasta, chicken bouillon and the chicken and noodle bullion spice. I drive from Lenexa Ks to there. Nothing like it. One small bag lasts a long time. Very concentrated.

H& M Country Store I'd located in James Port, Mo. Great Store to get a variety of different things to buy. They specialize in homemade Jellies & Jams. The Bakery Is to die for. What I mean, the cookies, fried pies, different fruit pies, a variety of breads. Such as Onion Cheese, bacon cheese bread,and other favors. Delicious

This is my go to store to buy most of my spices.
I also like their homemade noodles.

Nice, clean store. They do have competitive prices. Very congenial Amish families that run this site.
