Road Side Park

Shame on me for driving by and not stopping here more often. It's a beautiful spot and a great place to picnic, let the kids play, enjoy the outdoors or just chill out. There are places to grill and cookout even though I didn't get pics of those since I was just enjoying the nature side.

My ex-girlfriend took me there. It was an amazing time. Leaves were changing colors. Perfect weather. Sunset hit everything just right. We've been there a couple times and the scenery was breath taking every time. Small, quiet. Wasn't hardly anyone there. Well kept park.

This is an absolutely beautiful little spot, if you driving by when you got a couple extra minutes I highly recommend you stop. I was there during the early summer / late spring and the water was a lot higher. I don't think I've ever seen a creek disappear under a rock bluff and then reappear 15 ft away coming the opposite direction. It's so peaceful here and there's picnic tables and fire pits for barbecuing. I imagine the water gets deep enough when it's running high that you can actually find a good place to swim. It's out in the country but that makes it better in my opinion.

I have lived around here my whole life, I'm 46 now. The Roadside Park holds many, many memories for me. From playing there as a little girl to taking pictures of my kids playing there. Memories of being pregnant with my last child and attending my sister's wedding there. There is even a pic of my brother Lonnie standing with all the ladies that day... Memories, that's all we have of my brother now. (Love and miss you Lonnie and Erin, my beautiful-smart daughter; my mini me. I miss you both so bad. Lost many family members and friends this last year. RIP‼❤ Our hearts are forever broken. Thank you God, for the memories.

Very nice, clean, peaceful

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows there today! 30 years!!! It's a really beautiful spot. A creek runs beside it and it has grills and tables! And your dog's welcome there!

Very beautiful creek and trees. There's cows on one side and the highway higher up on the other. It's small but very peaceful, I've only been a few times but it hardly ever has people.

Awesome little roadside pause, with a tiny cascade. Be prepared to cross a small amount of water if you want to pass all the way through, otherwise there is parking on both ends.

GREAT!!! Needs some road patching and mowed and trash picked up....would be good to make it a two wheels only camp.
