Got our food to go. Taco combo and shrimp chimi. Really delicious. And food was fast.Ready in 5 minutes.

I didn't know what it was but our realtor ordered it so I did the same since she's had it beforeand said it's delicious. I should have known better since she has the appetite of two large men...and one meal was truly enough for three people. It comes in an iron cauldron filled with chicken and steak, and a very healthy portion of cheese, and veggies including cactus, in an amazing sauce. Molcajete Ranchero

I had the seafood el molcajete, very good! Their salsa is also very good! Great service as well. They also have several hot sauces, Tequila and beer to choose from.

Staff are always on the feet moving, cleaning, serving and refilling something. Prices are comparable in the current market. Did I mention the staff are friendly and always serving.

We reserved with this restaurant on Saturday afternoon. We had nearly 40 people following a graveside service and we were taken care of very well. Comments from everyone included this place was perfect and the food was very good. Service was exceptional. Some of the folks were local and many from out of town. This is a restaurant to support. Truly a jewel of Ava, MO.

My son and his girlfriend took me to eat a week or so ago. I went simple with 3 tacos and a huge frozen strawberry margarita that was made perfectly! A simple dinner that tastes great, a much needed drink to end the day and I couldn't have been in better company than my son. No complaints. I will go back.

You got to have the Molcajete dish, I know the locals like the cheesy sauce on everything, but me, I like the most authentic Mexican dish. And this dish is the closest and it's is delicious. 20 stars

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and amazing service! The food was great and we will return! Don't waste your time with their margarita however, I am a margarita connoisseur and theirs was awful. I would gladly pay much more for a fresh squeezed lime, top shelf tequila margarita!

Excellent. The food is always delicious. The service is good even when they're busy. Sunday's are hopping, but the food always comes out in good time.
Update: We still eat here fairly regularly. As always the food is good and doesn't take long to get after ordering.

Had a double platter of fajitas with shrimp, beef and chicken. Plenty of food for the price, enough for lunch for 2 the following day. Staff was friendly, food served Hot!

For an after church meal... They weren't very busy. Yet the service and meal were flawless. A little heat with great flavor. A solid place to eat. I recommend.
