Hillside Cabin Rentals

Our first stay. The provided amenities exceeded our expectations by far. Extremely clean. We have already started planning another trip, staying at these cabins, again. I would recommend to anyone planning on floating the area. Recommend calling or emailing days ahead of time to verify any questions you have, as the conformation email outlines.

We stayed in cabin 3 for a cute but simple romantic getaway. It's perfect for just that. Justin provides just about everything. We only had to bring food and firewood. There was charcoal and lighter fluid there, but both were under half so thankfully we had brought some. It's right at the edge of town so not super secluded as you can hear the cars on the roadway. However, it was still very quiet and peaceful as it is a very small town. The cabin itself is fairly handicap accessible. Gravel parking right against a porch to the front door. Standing shower with a built in seat. Level deck with chairs and grill. Just a couple steps down to firepit. Lots of places to visit and explore nature that works for everyone. I really can't say enough about it. It's a wonderful place that we will be returning to for at least yearly visits.

Nice little cabins. Following Google maps here is a bit confusing, just look for the sign across from the highschool. Comfy beds and all the cooking utensils I needed. Next time I'll get one with a deck and enjoy the scenery. By far the best place to stay near Annapolis!

Absolutely by far the BEST cabin rental you will ever stay at!! Clean, homey peaceful, and so well taken care of. Everything you can think of is provided. We are already planning our next visit! Spending an early Thanksgiving here in cabin #5. Cabin is clean and well stocked, obviously taken care of. Nice to have a grill, fire pit, porch, kitchen and linens already on hand, leaves less to pack for a quick getaway.

We had such a wonderful time in the delightful Hillside Cabin #4. Justin goes above and beyond with his detail in the cabin itself and the amenities he provides. Every inch of the cabin is wonderfully thought out and super clean. The smart TVs were great to pick up on our regular Netflix shows and also has great cell reception and wifi signal. We spent lots of time on the back deck, grilled burgers and brats, and used the cozy fire pit for smores at night. Our children thought the loft (great padded floor for the knees) was the coolest ever and they spent so much time with the magnetic dart board. The decor is adorable and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The Crazy Sister Cafe is a minute away and has wonderful food and Dollar General is very convenient right down the road.
Spent one day at K bridge on Black River just about 5 miles down the road and it was a BLAST. Fun for all ages.
Great place to relieve stress and recharge your batteries. Very relaxing.
Can't wait to come back!

The wife and I did a last minute one night stay here after a day of hiking in the area. We were most pleased with the price and the accommodations. 30ish minutes from Taum Sauk and Sam A Baker as well as the Arcadia Valley. Annapolis is a cute, very, little town, but has just enough to last a weekend.

We stayed in cabin 2 and loved the excellent use of the space. It’s small, but you do not feel cramped. The back deck was nice to lounge on the rockers and the fire pit got good use.

No one else was staying at the other cabins on this night so that made the experience even better. The cabins are pretty close to one another so I could see it being a problem if you got the wrong neighbors...

History of Cabin 1. Pastor Leroy Wakefield and his wife Patty had this cabin built while pastoring First Baptist Church in Annapolis. It gave them a place to stay on Sundays. And during Vacation Bible School and any other church events. God blessed us with many happy times and wonderful memories at this cabin. Leroys health gradually declined and they were not able to stay any more so they sold it to the current owner and that was the beginning of Hillside Cabin Rental. Cabin 1 has always been a place of peace and tranquility. I pray when you stay there that is what you find and feel the presence of God there. Some of my family and I stayed this weekend and that is what we still found there. I (Patty Wakefield) will always love this cabin and have special memories of my time there. It was a bittersweet emotional weekend but very peaceful. My husband went to his heavenly home on January 19, 2019. My prayer is that when you stay at cabin 1 you too will find peace and feel God's presence there.

Cabin 1 is very homey. They provide everything you need from kitchen,to bath,to games for the entire family. The only thing you provide is food. Pricing is very affordable. Great for a romantic weekend getaway to week getaways with things to do in the area during the summer months.

Myself and three other guys were here to do some boar hunting. We stayed at Hillside Cabins and were very satisfied. Cabin 4 was very nice and clean. The owner was great.

Perfect! Clean and had everything you would need for a long weekend stay. Back deck is private with nice extras like bug lights, citronella candle and outdoor lights.

Cabin #3 was clean....Bed was comfy....The recliner kinda needs replaced

Came into town to work that failed so ended up staying here beautiful place cabins are peaceful wonderful my only one complaint would be the poison oak on the tree right next to the cabin because I used to be highly allergic not sure if I am now LOL they give you everything you need besides food it's awesome

Very clean and well maintained. Had no problems. I'll be back for sure.

Wonderful place. Was fully equipped. All I had to bring was my clothes and food.

That's our second time staying there it's a very nice place nice area peaceful definitely go back there.
