El Paisa Mexican Restaurant

Sunday ride led me here and I enjoyed the nachos. I'll definitely be back. I'll try all of their nachos on the list.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. Great service and food. Good value, too. Portions are large and quality is high. Stopped for lunch on way to Powell Gardens. Happy to recommend both

I loved this place. Food was great and the people were friendly. Place was clean. My husband loved the mexican chili. I loved the chicken and rice with cheese. I will be making this my main Mexican restaurant when I come through here.

My wife and I were in this evening, I'm a frequent fajita nachos guy, my wife has Pollo Lone Lack. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, Our waitress, Darlene, Although new to me, was very attentive & kind.
My wife and I had a great date night dining experience. We will definitely be back! 😃
EDIT: Darlene has become familiar with us, these days, Nine months after the above review, I still come in for nachos, And then do I take out order on behalf of my wife, Darlene just knows, I guess i've become predictable, That's OK, I'm in about once a week. I appreciate the great service.

Holy moly! Raphael owns this restaurant too and it's amazing! Folks, (lol) I hurt myself eating this evening. They did not skimp on ANYTHING! Steak Quesadilla had a lot of steak! Shrimp Fajita had sooo much shrimp and my Enchiladas were stuffed! Raphael Jr recognized us and I was so happy to see they owned the place. We've gone to their other restaurant, El Paso, for years and I now prefer the food at their new place, El Paisa! I didn't have to smell other people's cigarettes and for me that's a HUGE plus! The food was awesome! Highly highly recommended! Highly!

We had not been here for a while. Before now, I would have said this place was just OK. However, they've really stepped up their game recently. We have been a couple times recently. Both times, the service has been exceptional. The food has been delicious, fast, and super hot. On our last visit, we had a party of 10 and the service and quality were excellent.

Just got home from here and I am very pleased! Owner is amazing and went above and beyond for me! Made special margaritas that were to die for! I will be coming back very soon!

While traveling cross country we stopped for the night just east of Kansas City, Missouri. We found this little Mexican restaurant which had great food and service. The mixed fajitas ,(shrimp, beef, and chicken) was great. A 15 mile drive off US29 but well worth the drive. In Lone Jack, Missouri.

Amazing 👏 loved my dinner, it was so delicious. My family has known Juan for a long time and he was so sweet and kind and very helpful

Great food, we went just after lunch rush on a Friday. Fresh food, good margaritas, and very clean restaurant. Tasteful decor. Waiter was a little absent after food delivered, but returned and took care of us.

The best Mexican food in The Kansas City metro area! Hidden Gem, with EVERYTHING top notch. Attentiveness of servers, drinks are strong; food is fast, hot and seasoning is perfect; prices are fantastic; the fresh made chips and salsa are ridiculously good, and the Owner has true passion in his business & customer satisfaction and has hired people with that same attitude, and it shows. Make the trip, you'll prob leave with leftovers bc the portion sizes are awesome!
