Comfort Inn & Suites Macon

This comfort inn is very nice! After struggling with their website and with customer service, I finally called them directly to book a room. My price going directly to them was $20 cheaper, and they were able to book me quickly. When I arrived, the room was nice and clean. The AC unit is also the old school one that you can set and it will continuously cool, unlike the new thermostats that have motion detection. They also have free breakfast, free snacks, and they really are the best option around these parts.

My husband and I stayed here two nights, one on our way to Kansas and on our way back to Indiana. The staff is great, absolutely the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at, parking is good and lit up well, breakfast was delicious. The pool area was the cleanest I've ever seen. Finger prints on Doors and windows have always grossed me out. None at this place, not even on the entrance door or door to the pool. Hat's off to the manager and the entire staff, you all do an A+ job!!!! I will stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through this area.

This hotel was right up there with one of the best we’ve stayed at during our travels. From all the little extras they offered, to the cleanliness of the whole place! It was wonderful! Friendly staff also!

We stayed here last night (Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023) We car travel a few times a year so about 10-15 Hotel nights a year. I'd say this Hotel was right up there all around. Very nice up to date room, warm Cookies at check in at the desk and lemon water in the lobby in the evening. Wonderful mattress and soft sheets. Breakfast had both the hot and cold choices... more than the "usual" even "to go" pre filled bags with a muffin, food bar and bottle water for those who didn't have time to sit down. The pool was heated and the front desk gal said they try to keep it at 90° it looked nice and clean. Wish they had a hot tub but knew they didn't before checking in. If we are ever passing this way again we'll definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here a few times while working in the area. It is by far the nicest place in town! The rooms are clean, comfy beds, and the staff is wonderful. They even have a free dinner on Tuesdays and Thursdays! The book quick though.

I couldn’t wait to write this review! We have stayed at literally hundreds of Choice Hotels across the US and this hotel was far and above the BEST! From the moment we are greeted at the desk (after a long day of traveling), to the soft beds, SOFT towels, the consistent flowing showers, then to the breakfast the next morning, everything was perfect!! The hotel smelled like a new one! I was very impressed! Even the decor was tasteful and professionally displayed! Well done! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, you will not be disappointed!!!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The mid-morning front desk attendant was one of the nicest people I have met in years of traveling. I wish I knew his name so i could put it here. He helped my wife and I and refused any mention of a tip

King size room was clean, larger than most rooms and nicely decorated. Excellent location near typical popular fastfood restaurants with BIG parking lot with plenty of room for my 23' delivery truck. Pool looked clean and fitness room seemed adequate. I will gladly return.

We were stranded due to a bad hotel in Macon. This hotel and staff were top notch all the way! They found us a great room and the service and room were great. I will always stay here when in Macon, Mo again. Can say enough good about this hotel.

Everything was top notch about this hotel. My only complaint is that we (my wife and I) were looking forward to some time in the hot tub after a long motorcycle ride. Please update the picture because that is no longer there.

We stay at Choice Hotels most of the time. This was one of the nicest Comfort Inns we have seen lately. A evening snack, dinner and salad with drinks, great breakfast. Super friendly staff. Clean and convenient.

Business trip and was booked at the comfort Inn in Macon. What a super clean property! The staff was prompt, friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner. The room was super clean, the bed comfortable (up a little high), good water pressure and the AC worked flawlessly all night! They have an indoor pool, didn't bring clothes for that but wish I did.

Everything I saw was clean and fresh!

Breakfast in the morning was excellent, all the choices were fresh and they had real orange juice.

I would stay at this Comfort Inn again, excellent people, well maintained and managed property!

I've stayed at this motel twice this year and I have to say that both times I was very pleased with the front desk staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful giving local information and ensuring that my stay was the best it could be. A lot of front desk staff appear to be just going through the motions but not at this facility. They were top notch and a credit to their employer and Choice Hotels.

I travel to Macon a lot for work and always choose to stay here. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are nice and clean. On my most recent visit, my room smelled pretty musty but that's not a huge deal for me. This hotel is right off the main road and the highway. But it's not so close to the highway you can hear trucks driving by.

They have free breakfast which usually consists of eggs, sausage patties, potatoes with little peppers, biscuits and gravy. Not bad but gets a little meh after eating for 3 days straight lol

They have a workout room and a pool but no hot tub. A little office area in case you need to print anything and a washer/dryer in case you need to do laundry.

This hotel compared to others I feel like sells out quicker. I think it is the nicest hotel in this little town...I've stayed here a few times (middle of the week mainly) where I heard the front desk attendant tell customers that they don't have any rooms for the night. So keep that in mind and book ahead if you can.
