Prenger Foods

Just relocated to the clarence area, so far prenger foods tends to be cheaper than other stores I've shopped in. However groceries are more expensive in Missouri than Idaho. For example plum tomatoes are $1.60 in Missouri and in idaho 80 cents a pound.

Good store to shop at, fair pricing and great staff!

Macon store is perfect. The meat department has staff. The Brookfield store needs work. It has no Prenger feel

Small town so the store closes at 9pm, I had to work late so it was close to 9 when I got there. I wasn't rushed, I was treated with kindness, they didn't dim the lights on me as I was shopping and the young man at check out was friendly. All in a all a good experience shopping at the last minute.

Really nice store I wish we had these down on Houston, Texas. Just unbelievable pricing on items there. Love this store

Cashier's are always friendly. Great gluten-free options are available. Stop in almost every visit to town!

I thought it was a good store the only thing that I wish it had some more selection of certain items. But it was a very clean neat store and I would go back there again.

Interesting market, too large to be a "grocery" and kinda small for a "supermarket." The selection is not wide, but they have everything you most need. Quality is good, but prices are very good. If your needs are basic, this is your place to shop.

Due to recent events and COVID-19; Prenger Foods here in Macon have remained competitive on pricing and still offer excellent service. I do like the selection and products that I am usually buying. Customer service and checkers are always great, thank you for all you do!

This place is absolutely delightful to go to. The people there are always helpful and friendly and most of them know me by name. The selection and quality of the Best Choice products are excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

I have chose to shop at prengers versus c&r simply because prengers is cheaper with a lot of their products and the last time I shoped at c&r I asked the deli how long till the chicken frying would be done she said 3 minutes so I waited i saw the woman in the deli put the chicken from the case i said I wanted the chicken coming up she told me after waiting she had to use that chicken first needless to say I notified the manager of the issue he offered me free chicken i told him no and I wouldn't be shopping there anymore I was really mad that one mistake costed them about 900.00 a month if not more I was in that store every other day!!!

Friendly staff, good Deli and bakery.

I am a manager here. Great store to shop at.Had a great busy night like usual. Another great night of wonderful customers and great new employees who we are training to be the best for our customers.

Clean friendly staff.. I remember when the recession head and country mart closed seen are jacked up their prices even though it was a time for a small town to Struggle this grocery store came in and help a small town of Macon
