Los Jimadores

Highly recommend this authentic Mexican joint that I would imagine top the list for making Missouri. Do yourself a favor and order the tacos with rice and beans as it is incredible. The waitress that runs the show does a great job.

Nice big fajitas! A little on the pricer side for simple combinations but I assume it's because they have no competition in the area. Server wasn't friendly but kept our drinks filled and our order came out fast. Heads up there are peas and carrots(?) in this Mexican rice.
Will be back in a few weeks to try the Carne Asada tacos 😁

The food and service here was top notch with friendly waiting staff I was in no way, shape, or form disappointed I would recommend this as one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at

We were in our way to Utah and decided to stop to grab some food and I’m glad we did!! Hands down one of the best Tex-Mex we’ve had!! The portions are HUGE so if you eat like a normal person, just share it. Fajitas were the best.

Love this place. Food is always on point and the staff is friendly. Thursday is 1/2 priced margaritas and they usually have sports games on. For the area you really can't go wrong.

Was able to feed the entire M5 Contracting crew while in Macon doing a few roof replacements. Great food and affordable!

Food was great, albeit a little expensive, but it is worth the price. You definitely get the amount you're paying for. I'll definitely come back if I'm back in town.

Love this place. Most authentic Mexican food I've had. The owner Jose is a delight. Treats you like family. Menu offers an array of entrees to suit the needs of any palette. Food is always hot and as ordered. Their Margaritas are the best I've ever had. Try them you will not be disappointed.

We like to stop by here when we are passing through, it's about an hour from home, and our kids played sports along this route. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I have ranked all of our local restaurants based on their fajitas (lol) and Los Jimadores does not disappoint.

The owner rang me up as we were leaving one evening. I commented on their chorizo and my inability to duplicate my desired results, lol. Not to give away any secrets, but he gave me some solid advice to step up my chorizo game. IT WORKED. Any time we're passing through Macon, MO, I'm stopping by, even if I have to do takeout.

Come for the chips and salsa! Amazing flavor for the value. Everything on the menu tastes great, don't expect much from the kids chicken nuggets. Generous drink sizes. But seriously, the chips are amazing

Recently moved into the area and wanted to try out this restaurant. The food and service was excellent. However I ordered a jumbo margarita on the rocks. Could not taste any tequila in it. Don't know if they were having an off nite or what. I will go back and try it again some time soon....

We have a group of 10 plus that frequents Los Jimadores once a week. Great service, sad to see Andrea go, can’t wait for her to come back. Great food and drinks. If you don’t see something you want on the menu ask Jose. He will make it for you.

While traveling, I stopped at Los Jimadores on the recommendation of a friend and I was glad I did. The food was plentiful, flavorful and at a fair price. While I cannot claim to be a food expert, I'd much rather eat at Los Jimadores than and Mexican chain restaurant I've ever tried.

Always a great place to eat with friends and family. The food has always been a cut above when I have visited. It also has good prices for the food you get, with fast and friendly service.

I've lived in Macon for over a year, and go to Los Jimadores about twice a month. The prices are good, considering how large the portions are (about $10 to $12 a person). Very clean though a bit dark, waitstaff is very attentive and to food is delicious.
