the staff here are super chill the rooms are amazing the location A+ I highly recommend this place! even though the fire alarm went off when i first stayed it was still cool and i made new friends

We have stayed here a few times in the past and always enjoy ourselves. But this visit was especially nice. thanks to everyone at the englside for making our anniversary weekend special, special thanks to Ernesto for being so friendly.

Hotel is directly on the beach.
We had an efficiency room. Any issues in the room (TV remote and table lamp) were immediately addressed. Outdoor entertainment at the Sandbar was very good. Decent drink prices.

We eat here almost every week, love the food and service is terrific.

I love this place! It's a perfect location right on the beach. It has a pool and outdoor bar and grill. What more do you need!? You are also right by fantasy Island. There's also an additional restaurant right under the Inn. We ordered food to go, and it was amazing.

Always here off season because of the views. Add in amazing food and service..... can't beat it

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Good rates out of season with pet. Beautiful beach ⛱ and great food entertainment too.

What a great night. Made reservations and were seated and greeted right away. The staff has always been very friendly and the bar tender is the best Drew. Food came out hot and very delicious. The quality and the culinary experience has never changed over the years. Always a 5 star place to go when in Beach Haven.

This was my first time at the Engleside and over all I was impressed.
This may sound silly to some, but it means a lot to me with restaurant prices these days. They give you rolls. So many places don't.
I started with oysters. They were cleanly shucked with all the liquor left in the shell.
I had the Sea Bass. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The presentation was a bit clunky kind of 80s like. The important part was the cook on the fish was spot on.
My wife had the duck. The flavor profile was amazing. She wanted it mid well and that is exactly what she got. I was disappointed in the fact that the skin wasn't crispy. I think it was in the window a little bit too long. We were a 13 top and they were slammed so I let it slide.
I will go back and explore their menu.

I stayed at the inn this weekend and I was super impressed with the cleanliness’s of the room. The bathroom, floor, beds—spotless. The room smelled fresh. The bathtub was so clean, I would have eaten in it! Very impressed, especially for the price point. I also tried the restaurant and ate at the sushi bar. I had the house salad, shumai, and sushi rolls. The food was fresh and I wish I could have rented another stomach to finish it all. In addition, the sushi chefs and the bartenders were super helpful and very friendly. I felt like I was truly welcome. If I ever need to stay in Beach Haven again, this will be my go-to place!

Came back again this past week had another great meal! The Prime Rib was excellent my wife had the Salmon, also excellent! Christina our server was incredible. My wife and I have allergies and she was awesome to make sure we were taken care of. 5 stars!

One of the best restaurants you will ever dine in. Outstanding sushi bar with excellent quality. The dinner menu is perfect. Top notch in all aspects.

Sand Bar was a lot of fun with great music (Jimmy Brogan, Billy Walton and Destiny). Service was really good, even though the place was packed. Our server took the time to offer suggestions and interact with us without making us feel rushed. He was very personable!

Went for dinner with the girls inside at the restaurant and Willa, our server, was phenomenal! So attentive and everything was perfect. Food was absolutely delicious.

Great dinner and a great value. Food was well prepared and served quickly. Drink menu was on point.

The oysters were very delicious. I had their lobster bits which was also fantastic.

Hotel location is stellar. Right on the beach. Room was beachfront. Clean and spacious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Restaurants were excellent. There are dozens of places to eat and shop that are walkable from the hotel. Pool is a bit small and close to the outdoor cooking fans, but other than that it's a great place to stay.

The food and service were both excellent. The portion sizes for the price were very very generous.. It is an older building and could use a little upgrading to the ambience. However everything was excellent and I would highly recommend. I will definitely go back when I am back on the island. I'm not surprised how busy they were on a Wednesday night in the off season.

We had a lovely dinner with friends.9.29.23 . Service was perfect. I wish I remembered her name.

Love cocktail hour with beautiful views of the ocean and really enjoy interesting light menu. Servers are very friendly and eager to please. Cocktails are extra special. Love those made with ice cream.
