Coastal Blue Oceanside Bar & Grill

This place was Amazing. Jim was in my 45 years of living the best restaurant manager I have ever experienced. The guy was personable knowledgeable just an all around good guy. The kitchen was closed, but we really wanted dessert and he without us knowing comes out with this plate of warm delicious lava cake that ended the night perfectly. We will certainly be returning. Also, try the lobster burger, wow.

We had an excellent birthday dinner here with a party of 10. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Our table was already set up with two high chairs before we arrived. The server, Virginia, took time to learn the birthday boy's name and treated him and us with great care.

We ordered a variety of drinks, apps and entrees: martini, rum punch, cape may IPA, pina colada, beer salad, sushi, salmon, swordfish, burgers and crab cakes.

All of the food was excellent. It came out hot and within a reasonable amount of time, about 40 minutes after ordering.

I'd definitely recommend Coastal Blue to anyone.

Omg the French toast is so good! The service was amazing. Was here last weekend for a wedding so I ate breakfast here the server dava was so great she recommended a great breakfast drink. It was the best bloody Mary I ever had. If you eat here ask for dava she's so fast and you don't want for anything

This is a very nice place to come have dinner at. Both the inside and outside is nice but we decided to sit outside during our stay. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and had a great time!

The burgers looked very great! I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered a watermelon salad which was refreshing! The chicken marseille was delicious too

Came in for breakfast on Monday my server was dava. She was super sweet. Great service. The pancakes are amazing.

We had Easter brunch at Ocean Blue today. Everybody in our party enjoyed their food immensely. There offer delicious and beautifully presented fare. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went there on a late Wednesday night. The hostess was so kind. Our server Maile was awesome. So attentive and nice. The food was absolutely amazing 😻

This is an upscale restaurant with great food plated very nicely The servers are extremely professional This is one of those places that you would want to take your significant other two for an amazing meal out.

I was a chef for over a decade and this is one of the top places I like going to their braised short rib plate is absolutely amazing amongst many other things on their menu.

I highly recommend this restaurant not only due to the food quality all the way down to the tiniest detail their customer service and servers are great!

We had our work luncheon today at Coastal Blue and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Our server, Justin, was so attentive and kind. He really gave us spectacular service. The food and Beverage director, Matt, was so knowledgeable about the history of Icona and Diamond Beach it added a special touch. Highly recommend the Icona.

I wanted to take the time to give kudos to the entire operation at Coastal Blue. From the time we were seated, I felt that we were very well attended to by our servers Kit and Julie. Our waters were never left empty and we were given great recommendations.

My salmon was prepared at the temperature I requested and the rest of my table was also happy with their choices and presentation. The portions provided were great for the price as well. The manager, Olivia, also stopped by ensure that we had enjoyed our meal, which we did.

I will be looking to come back to visit Coastal Blue in the future and look forward to seeing what the menu looks like in the fall.

Place was great! Really nice restaurant. We went for appetizers and drinks while watching George Pollis on the steel drum which really created that fun beach bar/restaurant atmosphere. Food was delicious (Wings and Brazed Short Rib Nachos) and they had local craft beer on tap. Was a lot of fun and looking forward to come back for dinner! Everyone was saying that the fish tacos are amazing but we ran out of time!

The food at Coastal Blue was absolutely fantastic. We had sushi, shrimp and crab cakes. Everything was beautifully cooked. The service was also excellent, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Family Easter Brunch
Our 1st experience at Coastal Blue and we all LOVED IT! Food was fantastic and the service was exceptional! Some of the courses may have been a bit to much for the younger kids but chief Peter the was out of the kitchen begging these kids for their favorites. He was obviously there to make EVERYONE happy. Told Josh we would see him at one of his future events. Can't wait to get back to Coastal Blue.

We were guests of the Iacona Hotel. The Coastal Blue Oceanside Grill was a great perk for us. We had breakfast, lunches and dinner there during our stay. The food was always fresh and extremely delightful. The staff was especially welcoming and very caring. From our waiter Michael, our waitress Laura and bartender Patty, nothing was amiss! The atmosphere is quite chic, but I am not surprised. The restaurant is part of a hotel that was equally a terrific experience. We give it 5 stars!

Fabulous greeting with excellent seating was my introduction to the Coastal Blue Oceanside Grill. The menu was quite simple and affordable. I enjoyed a delicious meal which was priced to my budget and the desert was to die for! I cannot wait to return and would highly recommend this restaurant. Great place to take the Family.

My HUSBAND and I are down here in Wildwood Celebrating our Honey Moon. Our usual Dinner spot was closed, so we found Coastal Blue! Hands down best experiance EVER! Made us feel right at home and our waiter Alex was amazing! Definitely a people person, and very knowledgeable! Thank you coastal blue for a great experience! We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely amazing place for fine dining I would highly recommend the braised short rib my wife really enjoyed the fish tacos the wine was good atmosphere was great and the service was absolutely amazing

We ate here over July 4th weekend. My husband and I were only planning to stop by the bar. While we were there we ordered the nachos, the restaurant was packed. I had the stuffed goose martini--the blue cheese was fresh and so good. My husband ordered one of their other special drinks. The braised short rib nachos were excellent. We literally didn't leave a crumb on the plate. After that we decided to stay for dinner. I ordered the lobster roll which was all lobster. I couldn't believe it--so good! My husband had the fish tacos which were also good (I tried a bite). Over dinner we tried the Cape May beer and then had Moscow mules which weren't on the menu but the bartender made anyway. After dinner, we headed out to the patio. We didn't eat dinner out there because we thought it might rain. It was a great view of the beach. Perfect way to end the evening with some drinks. The staff from the hostess to the bartender to the waitress to the manager were all very friendly and personable. We will definitely head back to Coastal Blue again. We might even take the kids next time. There were several families there who looked like they were having a great time.
