The Surfing Pig

We are major fans of Jesters, the sister-spot to Surfing Pig and owned by the same company -- and Surfing Pig did not disappoint!

The location is incredible; right on the water with a gorgeous view of a little marina. There is a small parking lot, and adjacent street parking. We arrived at opening time during the week and had no wait.

Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Loved everyone we encountered.

Drinks were delicious. I had the Cape May Lemonade, and I'm definitely coming back for another! Can't wait to try the Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita!

Portions are huge and food is delicious. The people next to us ordered the Salmon Salad and I snapped a picture because it looked so incredible! Pulled pork nachos were super yum, and the poke bowl is our usual go-to (a menu item also at Jesters that we get every time). Never disappoints!

A thousand percent recommend this little gem, and also their Dive Bar, Jesters, only 15 minutes away in Rio Grande.

It’s so hard to find good food off-season down the shore, but oh my GOD. the surfing pig is a place you MUST go. I can’t get over the brisket grilled cheese. I was expecting a little sliver of brisket. NOPE. I have to attach a picture because you wouldn’t believe how stuffed with brisket this sandwich was if I just told you. The crab quesadilla was bangin. The fish tacos. Oh god. So good. Everything was fantastic. Live music, amazing customer service, just wonderful all around. Can’t wait to come back. Add sushi to the menu and I won’t go anywhere else when I’m in wildwood this summer. 🫡

I love restaurants on the water because they have an amazing view. The menu had an eclectic mix of seafood, bbq, and comfort food with a modern twist. My daughter enjoyed her pulled pork tacos, and my spicy fish bites were flavorful and tender. My husband liked the bbq platter, which included ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, but the bbq sauce was a little too vinegary for my taste. The burnt ends appetizer had large chunks of meat that were tasty and tender. We would return here again to try more items on the menu.

Love this place. Great atmosphere along with a friendly fun wait staff and the Food is terrific. Good breakfast menu.

Impressed. Third time here. Scenery is awesome, food is really good, and the BBQ is great. Can't beat the BBQ sauce. Raw oysters were excellent. Homemade Mac and cheese was loved by the kids and adults, although their recipe changed this year (unfortunately) and isn't the same homemade quality. Decent selection of beer and great cocktail selection. Unfortunately, prices went up significantly this year. $150 for 2 adults and 3 kids (only one alcoholic beverage).

Love their breakfast and the best bloody mary! Skillets are amazing! Hubby got the 8oz steak and eggs & the steak was cooked perfectly. Limited parking on site but plenty of street parking. Been here a few times, always a great go-to!

The best food in Wildwood hands down, never disappoints. Every food item is amazing and portion sizes are nice and big. We got the St. Louis ribs this time around. Also the view of the harbor while eating is incredible. If you are in Wildwood you need to eat here, it’s no question!

One of our favorite breakfasts in Wildwood. Great food, beautiful views of the water, and good service. Mexican skillet and Meat lovers skillet were so good and filling! Bacon had a delicious smokey flavor and nice and crispy. Great Orange crushes!

Great atmosphere with good quality food. The key west chicken sandwich was so juicy and tender. People rave about the cole slaw, but we didn't think it was all that flavorful. Our waitress was such a doll, suggested the beef barley soup and it was pretty tasty. Will definitely go again. The view was amazing.

Hands down the best place to go to start your summer vacation. Have been going here every year since it opened- and it always delivers! Came here this past weekend with my friends and they too were equally impressed. Cheesesteak eggrolls were great! The wings were by far one of the best wings we had - also made them exactly as requested (sauce on the side). The chicken tacos also are like the best tacos around (tortilla was so soft and pulled
Chicken was cooked great). I ordered the combo as usual- best ribs on the shore ! Beautiful views of the water - thankfully wind died down and we were able to open up the doors! Sweet tea here is also delicious. Only thing I would really make note of is the corn bread . We LOVE corn bread- and here it is homemade and delicious. We just have ended up getting a piece that was over cooked because it was hard. However, when we asked for a new slice- it wasn’t a hassle at all. You guys also have the best apparel . Great view, great food. This local BBQ restaurant makes amazing Que. The brisket is perfectly tender. The ribs have fall off the bone meat. The BBQ suave is home made and has a perfect tang and spice to it. Another plus is the seafood. The oysters are unbelievably fresh and delicious. I recommend to go to an early dinner because later dinners tend to have a long wait. 30 to 45 min. Well worth the wait.

Good food and great view. We stopped early for breakfast on our way home from Cape May and we were warmly greeted and had a seat right next to the railing. Fabulous view of the boats and the water. Would be remarkable for sunset. Our server was great and the food very good. Will definitely be back.

Tried going to this place last year during peak season during a vacation but the wait was over an hour long so we didn’t stay, came back this year and wow! I’m so glad we did! My boyfriend got the pulled pork tacos (the pico slaw was better than the best s*x of my life). I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. Fries were a 10\10. Tables are right by the water looking out on the beautiful view. Must go if you’re in wildwood!

We frequent wildwood and have never made it to the surfing pig…this changed last night and I’m so glad it did. The service, atmosphere, and drinks were phenomenal. We had the burnt end app, turkey rachel, and salmon. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to return and try some more of the BBQ!

Excellent establishment. Been to the surfing pig and the new swine bar both highly recommended. Swine bar a little upscale with great drinks and view. Maddie was a phenomenal bartender. Very attentive and personable. Loved my pineapple and Tito's cocktail 🤔. Lol

I had the fish tacos. They were amazing. Full of fish and great flavors. Overall. The service was great, the food was good, and the beer was cold. I will definitely be returning.

Great food and friendly staff! Hands down best oysters we have ever had! Also would recommend the Limoncello Martini and pulled pork fries as an appetizer. Great views especially at sunset with live music!

What a breakfast! This place is a must try! Firstly you walk in and the atmosphere is captivating. Wooden board floors with beach/marina gear strewn across the walls. Beautiful views of the bay out onto the pier. Our server was Victoria, who was so friendly and helpful. The food was delivered fairly quickly and came in heaps. The portion sizes were generous to say the least. I suggest one of the skillets or the fruit bowl with yogurt and granola for breakfast!

They had a live entertainer singing with his guitar. My daughters requested a few Elton John songs, but he didn't know them, but we enjoyed the views and food music and the bartender Melissa!!#cosmo
