Cheese steak hoagie a-go! We ordered a large and a regular size - pro tip: get a large to split with 2-3 people (maybe even 4). Fries came out in huge portions, too. All great food!

I was in the mood for a chicken cheesesteak and got one here today. It was really good! Service was fast and the folks were real polite!

Well, well, well, looks like somebody stumbled upon sandwich nirvana! I accidentally found this place today and holy sandwich Batman, it was the best thing that's happened to me in a while! This sandwich was packed with so much meat, it wasn't dry like the Sahara desert and tasted like it was made by the sandwich gods themselves. I'm pretty sure someone put some love potion in this meal because I feel like a better person now. I highly recommend giving this place a go, your taste buds will thank you later!

Ordered a large cheesesteak & fries paid $30. But definitely worth it! The amount of meat on this 18 inch mammoth of a sandwich was unbelievable! The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly; the long roll was incredibly soft. The fries were super crisp and hot. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant has really great food! My chicken sub was amazing! Just like I make at home . My husband's cheese steak was fantastic. Pizza is great . Hard to find quality food . It's obvious that they care! Salads are awesome too!

This was the overall winner of the Philadelphia cheesesteak Adventure Jersey Shore part 2, 2 days, 9 cheesesteaks, 2 breweries and 2 distilleries adventure. This was a delight. It must be a new sandwich because it was advertised on a piece of paper taped to the glass by the cash register. They call it the bomb! A Cheesesteak with salami, provolone (pretty sure) and maybe a long hot. It had a good amount of meat. Being new to provolone I usually like to get some kind of sauce with it to loosen it up. I think provolone's a hearty cheese. This Cheesesteak could have used something to loosen up the salami and the provolone. It was a very nice combination that work very well together. I very much liked this cheesesteak. I didn’t see the sexy cheese pull until I was looking at the pictures. We ate this beauty at Cape May distilleries.

An absolute classic! Everything is great and authentic Italian American, but the cheese steaks and pizzas are worth a visit every trip to NJ. Don't forget the grocery next store for a lot of authentic Italian goods. They always have a pretty good pinball machine too while you wait for your food!

Best cheese steaks anywhere on the Jersey shore. We've been coming here for decades. A generational family place and a tradition in Wildwood forever. Don't hesitate to stop in. It's the real deal, 100%!

AL&P has consistently good food and they are open late. We’ve been ordering cheesesteaks and sandwiches from here for years. Everything is always delicious and they have quick pickup. I highly recommend AL&P if you are looking for something to eat in Wildwood, NJ. They have a decent variety of options.

This is a great find. Hot food was excellent (cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak hoagie). Food was nice and hot, quick service. And the grocery store was good - got our Stock cakes fix.

They have the best pizza and burgers!!! My family goes here every time we visit the Wildwoods and have been for as long as I can remember.

We had planned to get sandwiches from Russo's, but they were closed for the week. So we looked around and choose A & LP. It must have been providence, and we have a new sandwich shop at the shore.

We ordered a cheesesteak, pizza steak, a pork rabe and a grilled chicken. Each sandwich was HUGE, fresh and packed with filling. The fries were huge orders. Two orders were plenty for the four of us to share with leftovers. They were wonderfully crisp outside and pillowy and perfectly seasoned on the inside. The service was friendly, professional and excellent, and the prices were VERY reasonable, a great value for money!

I've seen some of the reviews saying there was no meat, and I wonder where they got sandwiches because ours were two to three inches thick with meat and we all had trouble finishing, but they were so delicious we pushed through.

I grew up in Philly, and these were among the best I have ever eaten. Visit A & LP, you won't be sorry!

Update: fast forward many years and A&LP is still the best game in town. Also, we're HUGE Mack's Pizza fans, and we tried A&LP's pizza...not bad at all, pretty darn good, in fact. If Mack's was closed, or off season, those would be our pizza place, too!

Great quality food, great prices, large selection on the menu, and always open all year round, even when most have shut down for the season. The pizza shop you dream off.

We ordered a large chicken cheesesteak. It was delicious, full of flavor, and on a perfect roll.
Before we left we ordered the Old Style Italian Hogie and the Chicken Cutlet Rabe. Both sandwiches were perfection. We will be back as soon as possible! DELICIOUS FOOD. Open year round. There is a reason they have been in business for 60 years. A & LP know how to make delicious sandwiches.

A&LP is a local favorite and usually very good food! Only once or twice has it not been great but these were peak hours during summer madness which cant be easy being one of the only quality places in town! The manager even credited us for the order we were unhappy with. These guys make great food and are great folks. Youd be a fool to make anywhere else your favorite or go-to spot.
