El Alebrije Mexican Food

Had an absolutely incredible experience eating here! Food was incredible, could not get enough. Margarita was our waitress and she was so sweet, accommodating, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. Can't wait to come back!!

What an amazing surprise - the best Mexican food I've ever had is in Wildwood, NJ! So much better than the places we frequent in NYC. The barbacoa tacos Mexican style are a must-try!! The food is authentic, the space is bright and clean, and we had the nicest server. Our baby usually does not do well in restaurants, but he was on his best behavior after having the rice and beans...and he finished the whole plate.

Place is to die for! The food was super delicious, very flavorful and authentic ! Will definitely be coming back every time we’re down here.

This is seriously amazing food! The most flavorful dining experience we had in Wildwood the week of our vacation there. From the chips and queso dip for starters, to the main course of the pork tacos and steak burrito, to the dessert of a fried and frosted plantain, every dish was delicious! Our meal was over the top awesomeness in every bite. The girls out front were extremely kind and super friendly. This place is rated so highly for a reason, don’t pass it up!

I really loved the establishment, the food is to die for. I really do appreciate the service I was given and there sincere desire to be helpful. It is family ran, which makes the whole atmosphere even more authentic. Definitely recommend it to people who haven’t had real Mexican food or are looking to broaden their horizons.

Wildwood finally has a real deal mexican spot. Stop what you are doing and go get some barbacoa tacos— they are not greasy or dry… they are not too salty, they are divine.

My husband got a steak burrito— when I asked him to explain it, he said it was exactly what he hoped for. Steak was cooked perfectly.

It’s a takeout spot, that is unassuming, but the flavors speak for themselves. Order at the counter with seat yourself outside or inside seating. Great service and a server even though its a seat yourself.

We will be returning year after year— support them! They need to stick around. 💗💗💗

The fajita’s were really tasty and hot! The quesadillas were very large and portions are really great for price! We will come back when we visit the shore

I live in NYC and I swear Wildwood has way better and more authentic Mexican food. The flautas are AMAZING. All of the tacos are fantastic. But maybe the best part is actually the service… everyone there is so kind and welcoming that I feel like I’m back in Mexico City. ¡Gracias Margarita!

Delicious food and amazing service! Sept 17 was their last day of the season! Can't wait to come back next summer when they reopen!

Bright, cheery place with the best Mexican food in the island, hands-down. Super tasty and authentic. Don’t sleep on the tostadas!

This place is legit. Got tacos, nachos, and a burrito. Everything was fresh and delicious. I got an al pastor burrito that was massive. Great balance of fillings and the fresh cotija cheese and sour cream on top kicked it up. My wife got tacos which were excellent and the spicy sauce that came with them packed punch. Highly recommend this place for fresh, flavorful Mexican food at very reasonable prices!

This was up there with my favorite spot in Baltimore (Cocina Luchadoras) it’s authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend the sopes and verde enchiladas. When it’s busy prepare for a wait, but it’s so worth it!

The dishes are authentic Mexican food.. It is a family friendly restaurant.. We had great service sitt9 was available.. Very clean and well kept... All employees and staff wear there mask at all times.. I eat here about almost every week is the awesome Mexican dishes that i love.. The tacos dorados are to die for with the freshly made guacamole... The nachos are a good portion enough for 2. The sopes i recommend as well.. The chorizo tacos and nachos are a must...

Great selection of Mexican food, you can find even sopes here. Shrimps salad is delicious!
