We had the most excellent time at Sun Outdoors in Cape May. This was my first trip to the Cape and we wanted something low-key where we could also bring our pup. It's proximity to Wildwoods was a great little bonus.

We stayed in the cabins and they were excellent. Decent beds, great mini-kitchen, and a fantastic screened porch. The dog park was great, the playgrounds were fun, and the pools amazing. We rented a golf cart while on property and highly recommend doing so if you plan on exploring the entire campground.

This was the first year for the cabins where we stayed, so there were a few growing pains. Don, resident handyman and all around fun guy got us set. The Wi-Fi in the cabins was also pretty epic considering the "away from it all" feel of the cabins. If I had to work (I didn't) I could have without a problem.

The staff: Debbie, Julio, Tatiana, and everyone else was just lovely. We plan on looking them up again when we need some time away from the grind.

Took our last camping trip here for the season. We thought when we booked it was Sun Outdoors Wildwood. Anyway, very clean, family friendly, good location, lots of activities .Sites are pretty close together, and speed bumps every few feet. I tripped walking my dog, it was very dark and I was wearing flip flops, didn't see the speed bump. They are full swing Halloween this weekend, and lots of activities including a carnival for kids and trick or treating. I took some pics of sites for the decorating contest.

We just spent 10 days in our RV at Sun Outdoors & couldn't be more pleased with our camping experience! I especially wanted to recognize Deandre who was the Pool Attendant during the week! He went out of his way to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction & nothing was too much for Deandre, so please extend our appreciation for a job well done!

My family and I have been vacationing at Holly Shores for years. We Love this camp ground its very safe, and clean. Christine the Manager and Julio have been extremely accommodating over the years considering we have a huge travel crew, atleast 25 of us. Any issues that may have occurred, or anything we needed the staff were their to assist asap. It's been a family tradition for over 10yrs to stay at the now Sun outdoors, and we will continue to vacation here. We love it!! And the make over is just beautiful!!!. Sun Outdoors gets my 5 ⭐

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sun Outdoors Cape May, and it was an incredible experience. This was my first time camping with a travel trailer, and I was a bit nervous about backing into a spot and hooking up. However, the staff at this campground made the entire process seamless.

Located conveniently near the Garden State Parkway and not far from Wildwood, Sun Outdoors Cape May offers easy access to essential amenities. Nearby stores like Walmart, Tractor Supply, Wawa, Lowe's, Dunkin' Donuts, and a sizable liquor store were a pleasant surprise.

Pulling into the park was an exciting moment for my family and me. The park's inviting atmosphere immediately put us at ease. The check-in process was efficient, with the staff providing clear directions and expectations for parking.

I have a 38' trailer, and while the road within the park might be a bit tight for some, I had no trouble navigating it. My neighbor even kindly moved their truck to make it easier for me to park.

Setting up the utility hookup was a breeze, and the fellow campers were friendly and welcoming. The pool provided a refreshing escape from the heat during our stay.

I must also commend the staff for their excellent handling of ADA accommodations. They respected my rights with my service dog, and their professionalism in this regard was commendable.

In conclusion, I had a fantastic experience at Sun Outdoors Cape May, and I can't wait to return. Thank you for making our first travel trailer camping adventure memorable and enjoyable!

We had a glamping tent and it was so cool!! It was big and open and the porch was an added bonus. The amenities were perfect for our kids (4 and 5). The pool was heated and the hot tub was great. They had a blast on the jumping pillow too! Renting a golf cart is recommended if you don't have one. It was a great tool to keep the kids busy 🥴 We will definitely be back!!

I was a little skeptical going into a campground since camping has never been my thing. The experience I had here was like no other and was a great introduction to what a camping life style is like. The only thing that can be improved is the beds in the cottages since the wood under the mattress with no box spring hurt my moms already injured back. Otherwise the price is great and the golf cart was a great alternative then walking around or taking a car. Another great thing is the pet friendly atmosphere. I was never once outside the cottage without seeing a puppy. We were able to walk our 2 dogs with very minimal risk or stoppages along the way.

Stayed here in our travel trailer. Very clean and well kept. Office staff very friendly and helpful. A big shoutout to Bill, one of the managers who rented a shuttle bus to cart those of us who were attending the Barefoot Country Music Festival (for a reasonable fee) back and forth. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Starfish House, a little vacation house outside of the actual campground. The whole place is beautiful and clean. There are a few notes I'd tell people, however.

1. If you're ordering food, make sure you put in the actual street address rather than the campsite's address. You can find the real addtrese on Google maps.

2. There's a plethora of cooking and baking utensils provided, but no baking sheets. If that's a problem for you, then bring your own.

3. There's one TV, in the living room. Personally, I just used my laptop to watch TV in my bed, so it wasn't a problem, but if you have a bigger family who fights over what to watch, it might be an issue.

Those are honestly the only things I could see being an inconvenience, and they're all nitpicks. Phenomenal service, and friendly staff.

I'm a little late with this review because we stayed here in late April, but I needed to come on here and say how great our stay was. I was skeptical since this place was bought out and the reviews were iffy. The people working here were all super friendly. The place was so mostly very well kept. Nice bathroom, very clean, well kept sites, etc. We RV camped. Dog park was very large, with a bench but could have used a water bowl or some things for dogs to explore.. but honestly can't complain because it had an introduction area which is vital for dogs getting along. The playground in the back there was kinda run down, but thats more for seasonals i guess. The front playground was very very nice, and the jumping pillow also great. Also, i cannot say enough wonderful things about the event lady there, Dawn. She was by far the best event person at any campground I have ever been to. She was so inclusive and fun and welcoming and just so genuinely nice. Give this woman a raise, she deserves every penny. The pool and hot tub were nice, though my kids really wanted to go in, and since no one was there in April, we let them and got scolded a few times. The store was nice, the facilities were great. Everyone working there - great job! Oh, and the access to the bike path was a wonderful add-on. We biked to local breweries, wineries and to Cold Spring Village. This place was my favorite stay in awhile, as you can tell by this review. We will be going back, hopefully it'll be as nice when it's summer and crowded!

Close to everything in Cape May. RV park was clean, well maintained, and the pool was awesome (salt water, I think). Take bug spray for the bouncy pillow, dog park, and playground, though. Bugs are everywhere and bite. Overall, it was an excellent campground for all. We plan to return.

From arrival with Louis at the gate to Julio and Yolanda at the desk along with the TOP Notch management of Bill & Christine this was by far the best campground we have experienced. Amazing park, super pool, store and location. We are so thankful we found this place. Thanks again.

We had the most wonderful time last week! We stayed for a week in a Safari tent and it was just magical! The campground is beautiful and clean. The saltwater pool was clear, very clean and lovely! The moon bounce adds so much fun for the kids! The A-frame bathhouse is adorable and always clean and well maintained! We just love riding bikes around the campground. And the location is so convenient. The staff at Sun outdoors is always so helpful and accommodating! Camp store is also well stocked! We love the family friendly events and funnel cake night was delish! This was our third stay in two years and we can not wait to return. Sun outdoors in Cape May is just so lovely! 🏕🏖🚲🏄🏼‍♂💫🐚

Nice RV park. Our visit was from May 25 - June 13, 2023. We’ve stayed here prior to it becoming a Sun RV property and there really isn’t much difference.

One big difference is they charge a $10 a day resort fee. Only new amenity I saw was a bouncy hill. The office/store is new but I don’t consider that an amenity.

They do have many new Park Models in place. Some were so new that they were still in the process of setting them up. But they don’t seem to be additions but replacements.

It’s very close to Cape May and access was good for our 30ft travel trailer. Golf cart rentals, pool, playground, and attached hiking trail are all part of what this RV park offers.

It’s close to Cold Springs Village and Brewery. Bicycle distance on a bike only trail.

There’s a small laundromat and basics are available in the store. We shopped at the local ShopRite and Walmart. There’s a Joe Canal’s close by too.

The laundromat only accepts credit cards and the machines were tricky to get started. The campground directed issues to the leasing company. The leasing company did issue a refund for a malfunctioning machine.

It’s a clean park but pricy.

What a nice place.
We stayed this past weekend in a cottage, and had zero problems. The entire place was clean, neat and DECORATED for Halloween. Super fun. Family friendly. The long-term residents were warm and nice to us weekenders. Pool, playgrounds, giant bouncy thingamajig, store. 10/10

This was such a fun trip for my friends and I. I have been camping all my life and this campground is extremely clean, and peacefull. i stayed at Sun Out Doors in Cape Charles Virgina and loved it just the same. I ended my trip today by jumping on the jumping pillow like a little kid. Great location right near the wildwood board walk. Great crabbing locations, and amazing resturants like Hemmingways and 2 mile resturant. Cammot wait to come again!!

We just finished a 3 night stay in a cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were there for a college reunion and loved the size and walkability of this camp ground. The managers were very welcoming and accommodating and they have a little store on site if you forget something. They also have bikes on site and they gave us great restaurant/bar suggestions. We would definitely go back.

Friendly helpful staff, clean facilities, family friendly, close to Wildwood and a Cape May, would stay here again if I come back to Cape May. The only complaint is that their WiFi is so slow , it almost useless.
