Great place to stay at. Really enjoyed the rental cottage and having coffee outside by the fire. Look forward to going back when the weather is warmer and enjoying the grounds more.

We had a great time at the Beachcomber! We went in October, so many of the summer activities had ended for the season. However, we still had plenty to do! Halloween is huge there! Everyone decorates their sites. There was trick or treating and a hayride. We can't wait to go back in the summer so we can swim in their pools and hang out at the lake!

This was our first stay at BC and we have already rebooked for next year. Beautiful family owned and operated campground. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Plenty of on-site amenities, but still close to shopping, beaches and restaurants. Already looking forward to our 2024 stay!

(Many reviews comment/complain about all of the "rules". Just remember that rules are put in place for a reason. Respect your neighbors and the campgrounds wishes and you will not have any issues)

DAY 2 in our custom tiny house ..Slept peacefully on night one! Spent day 2 at the beautiful lake front here! Water is warm and sparkling clean… had a great bbq on our perfectly spacious deck with grill! Love how everyone drives around on golf carts saying hello!!! Night one in the Custom Tiny House.. nice bathroom and kitchen.. queen bed and lofts… great check in.. everyone’s nice! Even in the pouring rain I’m relaxed and happy!

This is a great campground and everyone is super nice. We enjoyed our stay here so much we extended it by another 2 nights. Pool is nice and the fresh water lake and beach area well kept. There is plenty of space between us and our neighbors however it can be difficult to back in as it's just tight. The only hiccup if you want their wifi you have to pay a few bucks for it. The games in their arcade is a buck each. But that doesn't take away from this awesome resort. From smaller travelers to ours and then to the big guys this is the place to stay at cape may. Fyi it can get buggy here. Should be a 4.5 star but it's just so nice here. Found cheaper firewood on the street as many private people are selling 7 bucks for about 6 pieces we found better prices and didn't mind lugging it back
As far as their rules, honestly not sure what everyone is complaining about here. Quiet time at 11 (I think) doesn't mean you can't have a radio playing quietly outside (although we were usually passed out from the day). The other rules are for safety and honestly I dont even know 99% of the rules outside of can't be 16 or under to drive a golf cart or quiet time . I found all the staff pleasant and friendly on all of our interactions with them

I love this place. Stayed here alot when I was a kid. Going to go back soon with kids now. Hope the vibes are the same.. and I'm laughing at the people complaining about how "apparently" its not enough room to park. Someone said they wish people would park their vehicles for them.. that's ridiculous my grandfather never had trouble pulling big vans and trucks and campers in. It's supposed to be like that learn to drive your equipment.. amazing place to go camping 🤙

We love this place. We have stayed here several times. The one thing we had a problem with was many of the drivers. Cars and golf carts were not stopping at stop signs. Driving way over the speed limit. Many were flying around the corner especially by the fishing pond with the tight turn. We also noticed many of the golf cart drivers were texting and also drinking while driving. This is very dangerous. The one lady flew around the corner blew through the stop sign and almost hit us as we were walking. She had an open container in her hand. This needs to be addressed.

we are already at the halfway point in our week here at beachcomber and I’m so happy we chose to stay here, such a beautiful campground and so much to do with the kiddos! The staff is absolutely wonderful, thank you for giving us a vacation to remember 😊 I’m happy we never paid any attention to the negative reviews, seems like a lot of people just don’t know how to follow basic campground rules! We found out on our own how great this place was! Definitely worth the 5 hour drive from Massachusetts! If you want great camping fun, definitely book at beachcomber!

Was nervous about staying here due to recent poor reviews. However we had a great experience. Just checked out today after a six day stay. We were in site 151 and it was a great location. Quick walk to the beach area and store. Campground was a quick 10 min drive to the boardwalk and everywhere else we wanted to go. They give out activity packages for kids which I thought was a great touch. The beach area was so perfect for my three year old to swim. We found everything to be clean and satisfactory. We will be back!

Loved our stay! All the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a weekly theme. My son got a picture with Santa, a Christmas tree, and the Grinch riding around on a golf cart. They had "Glow in the Dark" dancers from America's Got Talent perform on the beach. It is true that cell service isn't the best, but we came to get away and relax. Internet costs $4 a day and we had to get an access code from the office. We were not able to get a golf cart, but that was our fault for booking only a couple days prior to our visit. We rented kayaks and had a great time. The lifeguard who helped us with the kayaks was friendly. The cabin was clean on arrival. We would definitely stay here again:)

Loved this gem. The pool was perfect after a day at Cape May Beach. Sites are small but adequate. We have a 32' and had no problem backing in a mid row site. We had no issues with the services including cable. Seems just as advertised a beach vibe spot. It is a big park with a lot of spots but even though didn't seem crowed or overpacked. We stayed in July and the park was quite full. Our site had a paved pad and fire ring. We definitely return!

I, along with my husband have been going to the Beachcomber Camping Resort for about eight years now! We've been to many campgrounds throughout New Jersey.....Keep going back to Beachcomber not only for our summer vacations but our fall camping too. The campground is kept clean and has many amenities. You can either take advantage of all the various things that go on or you can just sit by your camper and enjoy the pleasantness of a campground!

In the eight years I have been visiting the Beachcomber, have always found every member of the staff to be extremely helpful and kind. Many of the office staff treat us as if we were family. Then again, the Beachcomer has been a family campground for close to fifty years now. From campsites to the Tiny Houses, Park Models or even a Tee-Pee, you will not be disappointed!

Fall is an AWESOME time to bring the grandkids to the Beachcomber.......Halloween is celebrated by many of the campers. Halloween Parade, costumne judging, etc., is fantastic! My grandchildren had such a blast this past weekend trick-or-treating and playing in the Bouncy House!

We loved camping here. I used to come when I was younger with my parents. This was the 1st I've been there with my own family. With the pandemic we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with how everything was done. Check in was one way in another out and was quick. Camp store was the same. All employees that we came in contact with were friendly even the cleaning crews. The only issues was a lot of golf cart traffic going both ways around the camping loops. I would have preferred it to be one way, but it was a minor issue. We had a great long weekend. The location is great as its 15 minutes to The Wildwoods.

This was one of the best places I've ever been to with a family of 4 and 2 little ones there was something to do for everyone. There were so many hands on activities for adults and the children and completely optional but so glad we did everything. We just had so much fun I literally wanted to go back the very next weekend this will be our new family trip every single year! The best moments and memories!!

First campground we took our trailer to when we started camping last year. I will make this a place to come back! We went in may so it was chilly and not very many people during this time but it was perfect for us. Not far from the cape may light house and all. Sites are all decent sizes. We plan to go back next April or may!

This campground is excellent for family getaways and Cape May destinationers! The resort is a large format place with very roomy sites. Yes, it will test the operators of the trucks that tow larger rigs, but my 46ft toy hauler can get into the deepest areas of the resort, with careful maneuvering and skilled spotters. The staff will help you, if you ask and be patient.

The owners are family first people. If you have a reasonable issue needing to be addressed, they are reasonable at hearing your side. Yes, there are rules that some do not agree with, but a resort of this size needs order and slexpectations. If you are not a rule type of.person, this may not be the place for you! They are reasonable rules, though. Don't hammer stakes into the ground....the utilities are not 3ft down! Tents fly away in wind, so don't set up a shade tent and leave it to become a hazard to others! Don't be loud after 11pm.....that's just courtesy to people.....
Yes, there are alot of seasonal. The place is a family tradition going back decades for some.....if you don't care to be around families that spend their summers here to enjoy the beach life, you might want to look for a campground that isn't at the beach!

We love the staff and the resort. Cannot express just how community-oriented and family forward these folks are. They treat you like a valued guest when you respect their place and do not expect them to bend to your will.

Happy to call this place our summer home!

Our favorite place to camp all season! Tons of amenities and stuff for kids and families. There are spots in the back for full season RVers that have more space than the transient sites up front. Makes sense, as most every park does this. Our site is big enough to park our 45' toy hauler, driven by our F450. While the roads ARE narrow, they are manageable. You CAN park your large RV here if you are comfortable backing into tight places (and then having plentiful space at your site if you stay for the season).

The staff at the front desk is friendly and personable. We know them all by name and light up when we are greeted by them when we walk into the office.

The guys at the gate are pretty sweet when you get to know them. If they get to know you, they lovingly organize your boxes together so they are easy to grab and find! How awesome is that?

We have water, sewer, electric... the pools are well maintained and my kids love them.... I wish the internet was a little stronger/more affordable, but it makes sense that you have to pay for it.

Yes, everything is an extra $10 here and there... but it keeps from having the overflow parking over-filled with visitors and not having enough parking spaces for the people who live here all season.

Yes, this is the priciest place in all of Cape May that allows for big rigs... but the amenities are worth it if you have kids. Summers are full of activities for kids that are akin to putting them in summer camp. The resort is safe and fun for kids, and I feel comfortable allowing my kids to go to movie nights on the beach and walking home to our RV in the dark. That kind of peace of mind is priceless.

We are excited to renew our stay next season.

UPDATE: It's 1 year later, and we STILL love it here!
UPDATE: It's been 2 years! We are STILL here and STILL love being here! ❤
