Menz Restaurant & Bar

For a couple generations either me or my wife's family has been coming here. Never disappointed. Love the uniqueness of each area in the restaurant. There is so much history with this place. Food is so delicious and service is great.

It is part of our family tradition to visit Menz while we come to Cape May for vacation and they never disappoint. They have a great selection of seafood, dinner specials, drink specials and a good selection of surf and turf items. My personal favorite is the broiled crab imperial stuffed flounder, absolutely delicious! Make sure to make a reservation, they are incredibly busy for dinners. They have a quaint little gift shop with 10 cent candy, talk about a blast from the past. The decor is unique and I can't recommend it enough; visit Menz for a great family dinner!

Friends recommended this place. After looking through their website, I knew I would enjoy this family oriented establishment. The menu offered a really nice selection. The service was great! We were so hungry and the order was served quickly and EVERY THING ordered was beautifully plated and tasted amazing!
They even made the, unpopular yet very flavorful, Apricot Sour drink my sister-in-law asked for.
Such a great place for dinner! Love the little shop and the eclectic decorations throughout the restaurant.
Would highly recommend. It is well worth the wait!

Driven past this place a million times and always wanted to stop. I was not let down at all the food was delicious I had a bacon Mac n cheese burger. The decor was really cool also. I'll definitely be returning.

Great family restaurant in Rio Grande (outside wildwood) very unique inside w giftshop. Kids will love this place. Food was very good, massive coconut shrimp, good portions of pasta, and deviled crab had two massive scoops. Will definitely be coming back.

Been going to Menz for years. ALWAYS amazing. Now with COVID they are doing a great job. Outside dining was available. I did make a reservation and they took us immediately when we got there. The food was terrific and fresh as always. Sorry for the half-eaten photo I forgot to take the picture before I started eating I was so excited to start eating! Don't forget to look for the buttons mixed in with the seashells in the parking lot!

Unique, straightforward seafood predominantly features on menu. Tons of repurposed salvage architecture and decor from churches and even the old Zaberer's in AC.

Excellent 🦀 crab soup 🍲 (MD tomato based) and deviled 🦀 crab / scallops entree.

Definitely walk through the candy shop and see the immense bronze plaques salvaged from Fairmount Park in their front porch bar.

Don't let the outside appearance fool you it is a gem.

Menz Restaurant & Bar offers fine dining with a family owned feel. The food was absolutely amazing. The portions are generous, and there are a lot of great options on the menu. The service and staff were excellent and overall Menz Restaurant & Bar after one visit has become one of our favorite restaurants at the jersey shore!

Menz is a really interesting dive. Delicious food with generous portions, although a little more on the pricey side. Curio shop and hunting lodge vibes mixed with live music and a family-friendly atmosphere. They have a small candy and gift shop which is so adorable. Definately a must-eat for a unique experience!

The Staff, Mike Bartender Awesome, very attentive.Food was cooked just right. A little pricey. Fish sandwich very yummy and loved the coleslaw. Asparagus soup delicious. The Scallops with bacon cooked to perfection.The music, guitar player/singer was very spot on with his music choices. The atmosphere was the best part in my opinion. Lots for the eye to admire. The history of the family and restaurant was very interesting, given by Jane? She was so sweet and helpful.

Excellent! Quick seating. Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Had delicious broiled halibut with a caper butter sauce. Dining partner had a baked potato that he described as the best potato he's been served at a restaurant EVER. Dessert options were excellent. Dine here. You won't be disappointed.

This was the best place I’ve ever been too. Service was done with such precision and passion, never once did we have to question when there would be food on the table. One second we are ordering, the next being brought free muffins and bread, then being served the most crispy, mouth watering fried pickles. Water being refilled and not even being empty. After enjoying the crazy appetizers, the best chicken parmigiana ever was introduced to me. At that point I was so amazed and then live music starts playing. Great service, great music, even greater food. Portions were huge, largest chicken parmigiana I’ve ever seen. After dinner we stopped in the little shop where we got great candy for a great price. I will be returning with my friends to enjoy the bar soon.

We went to Menz's for Halloween haunted dining their decorations were fantastic. You were able to walk and see the many displays. Inside and outside our waitress was excellent appetizers drinks were brought promptly. Food was excellent. Next year we are bringing more family

Great food great place it not in wildwood but if you keep going straight on the main drag you'll run right into it it's on your left hand side what's Google for the address excellent food great drinks the peach sangria get it every time they have it.

Everything was delicious down to the sides. Super friendly for kids and has the cutest little candy shop. Our waitress was amazing and the fresh peach daiquiri was so good! Also, save room for dessert because the smores cake is one of the best desserts I've ever had!

A really eclectic place to eat with some of the most interesting dining rooms around. Most of the rooms had an old world feel with oak paneling and deep red leather seats and chandeliers hanging in the halls. There is plenty of stuff to look at from a mounted boar head on the wall to antiques everywhere. This is a kid friendly place with a kids menu, fun free items (which are included in the meal cost), and a candy store on site. The meals were very good with a medium range cost. We sat in the ac open porch but felt left out once we saw the other rooms later. The waitress was nice but the service was just OK. Our meal (two adults one child) came to $45. This is definitely worth a stop.

Excellent food and service! Our waitress, Lauren D., was so much fun and made the meal exceptional! Portions are generous.
Had the fried pickle and coconut shrimp apps...both well cooked and large. Fried seafood huge Weight! was well done and huge! We will be back!

Everything was good! The first basket of bread was cold, but they brought another one and the bread was warm. The food was excellent. We had Lobster, fried shrimp and crab stuffed flounder. Everyone was satisfied! We paid a little more than checked off. It was worth it.

My family has been coming to Menz’s for over a decade now, and they never disappoint. This place is a staple when we come down the shore! The crab soup is delicious and you can tell it is made from scratch because wow! All of our meals always exceed expectations. If you’re looking for an amazing seafood place, this is the one! The decor in the place makes it as well. We will always come back here (:
