I’ve been to this hospital a few times. Last time pretty serious. Everyone from the ER nurses techs and doctors are always professional, courteous and caring. I just spent 4 days on the third floor ward and the nurses and techs were just unbelievable. Thanks to you all for taking such good care of me.

I'm not a fan. If possible I definitely try to avoid this hospital. If you must go here for an emergency, it will really depend on what Dr. and nurses are on duty as to whether you have a good experience or not. As far as visiting others that have been admitted, I have had horrible experiences. Recently I had a family member put on hospice care after being admitted and was not able to go home. They were alert and able to talk on the final 2 days of their life, so obviously her and her family wanted to visit to say goodbye! Her family members were told only 2 ppl could go up at a time on the first day and then told only one at a time the next day. When asking security if it was a new policy, we were told it's been that way for a while. Then after letting 2 grandkids go up that first day, we were told that kids under 18 were not permitted to visit. Also on that first day of the visits, while we waited our turns to visit, we were told to wait in the cafeteria so we were not crowding up in the waiting room. This definitely made sense but then the next day we were told by security that we were not allowed to wait in the cafe and were told we needed to go outside and wait. Apparently the policy changes daily at this hospital. We just felt that in a time of grieving for a loved one that was abt to die, a place like a hospital should have something in place to provide for the families better. I'm sure when certain employees or special ppl are in the same position, the rules are bent a little to accommodate them! So hopefully nobody ever has to deal with this horrible scenario and are at this medical center. My wish is they change their plans of action in the future to make this situation a little easier for the families that do!

Been to this hospital a number of times; you will go in for an emergency visit and still wait a half an hour before being checked in, and the nurses dilly dally. I was in the most extreme pain i've ever been in, and could barely move my legs and one doctor seemed to joke and asked how I "even got in the car." I was in so much pain I was crying in agony and a rude nurse (i think her name was Jen) said rudely to me "why are you hyperventilating?" Because Im in extreme pain, why else would I be in an emergency room? They've also messed up a procedure so bad my step father had to have his whole row of top teeth removed because an inexperienced nurse made the wrong move. Nurses constantly touch the floor with their gloves; if you drop something, pick it up, then change your gloves before you touch the IV or needles!!!!! Its a shame this is the only hospital around this area because its literally trash. do better.

I have kidney stones so I've had my fair share of hospitals and this was by far the worst. I started passing a kidney stone at the start of my summer vacation and this was by far the worst. First of all, to even get admitted was 20 minutes. And then when I did, I only got a bed in the middle of a high traffic hallway and never got a room of the three hours I was there. But every other patient did. I blame nurse Melanie. She messed up my IV and got blood all over my sheets and did not offer to replace them. She also splashed IV fluid and morphine in my face. I writhed in pain and she continued to talk to a co-worker and make small talk rather than give me assistance. On top of that the doctor proceeded to treat my medical condition as a joke! Drive the extra 20 minutes to a different hospital because you'll have to wait that long to be helped and this hospital will not do you any good.

Between myself and several family members who have gone to this hospital for emergencies, we all have had horrible experiences. For a family member, he was discharged only to be readmitted a few hours later with his organs shutting down from sepsis (luckily he survived but it took him a long time to recover). This hospital is only a series of misdiagnoses brought about by incompetent doctors and nurses. I would highly advise avoiding this hospital at all costs.
