Holiday weekend thought it would be crowded so we arrived early. Plenty of close parking ($60 for 12 hrs). Close parking is important because the walk from the pier to the water is about half a mile or more. Very deep beach! Water was chilly but pleasurable. Great sand, not many shells, sandy bottom in ocean. Didn't step on anything but there was evidence of fairly large, dead, horseshoe crabs. Beautiful day last Sunday on Labor Day weekend. Even when the beach got crowded, it was peaceful and pleasant. Pig & Dog restaurant was delightful and could walk to it without walking up to the boardwalk. It has a beach entrance. Try it!

We were visiting Wildwoods for a birthday. It was a Friday and took us 3 hours to get there with traffic. Plenty of parking, most are meter parking. The boardwalk is very nice and in great condition. I think big portions of the planks are replaced in the recent years. There were many people visiting that day but didn’t feel crowded. Beach access is always free. There are trolleys running both directions all day long for your convenience, $5 per person. They have fireworks on Fridays at 10pm during the summer, weather permitting. They have several carnivals along the way and plenty of shops, restaurants etc. Great place, a lot to do, will definitely return!

Quick family visit. Boardwalk was fun, cleaner and a lot more orderly that I remembered. FYI, no drinking allowed in some areas. Be ready to pay the equivalent of a trip to Great Adventure for a couple of rides + parking. Beach was undergoing rehab work, but still enjoyable and safe.

Very exciting place with lots to see and do! Beware that as with all tourist attractions, everything will cost more than sanity would surmise.

For instance, entrance to the Boardwalk itself is free, but if you want to ride rides on Morey's Piers, you'll have to purchase tickets from the kiosks. Rides will generally cost between 3-10 tickets each, and a ticket card loaded with 150 tickets will run you about $170. So budget accordingly!

Endless shops, arcades, carnival games, mini-golf, food stalls, and other attractions easily make this an all-day adventure. Well maintained public restrooms with changing tables provide relief. Go early to find decent parking, but expect to pay at least $20 for the day to park.

Also try going at the very start or very end of the summer season, as there is little shelter or shade from the punishing sun on the Boardwalk unless you're hopping from shop to shop. There is also a tram car you can ride for a few bucks each way.

A must-do experience if you're visiting the South Jersey Shore from which you will take away many happy memories (and a lightened wallet!).

The Wlildwood Boardwalk is full of shops with great food, arcades, stores with all kinds of merchandise and piers with all kinds of rides and games. There’s also bike rental shops around so you can take a ride up and down the boardwalk in the mornings. We always make sure to get up and take in the beautiful sunrise at least once during our vacation( it’s such a breathtaking sight)

Been coming here for years and years. Best place to be in New Jersey. I don’t even know how to review this place it’s just so awesome. So clean has everything you need. Been coming here since birth. Just come here. And discover the wildwoods.

This is our family go-to beach. Beach is very clean and well kept. The walk to the water across the beach is about a quarter mile. But the distance is accommodating for over crowding. There's plenty of space to pick a spot to post up at. There's also a taxi service for those you have difficulty walking or those who just don't feel like it.

The boardwalk is also nice and clean. Has your typical boardwalk shops and pizza shops and what not. There are multiple piers with lots of rides for adults and children along with games to play for prizes.

All in all, it's my favorite NJ beach to visit.

I was fortunate to be able to visit on a weekday at the very end of the holiday so it wasn't too busy which made the visit very pleasant. Obviously it's a "tourist trap" but it's fun and there are plenty of souvenirs at a reasonable price. The rides are fun but very expensive if purchased individually.

So much fun , love coming here every year. Never a dull moment , the beaches are beautiful and never really too crowded. Boardwalk is a fun thing to do to kill a few hours , great fudge and taffy spots too. A lot of arcades for the kids which is nice. I've never not enjoyed myself here.

Loved the boardwalk. It was good exercise (walking) and full of entertainment (store fronts, games, beach, etc.). However, the best part happened on Friday at 10 pm for the month of July.....FIREWORKS!!! my little one loved it. Would like to return

Huge Beach and bathing area . Boardwalk and Amusement as far as you can see . Pay to park . Off the Garden State Parkway. Wonderful place for the kids and adults too. Whether it's a day , weekend, or week there is plenty to do at the Wildwoods NJ.

I have been going there for 40yrs and love their long boardwalk. The walk to the beach is long but that's what I am use too. Mini golf, dolphins and the Barefoot Country Music Fest were part of the fun this last visit!

Beautiful place to vacation. Fourth July my son-law proposed to my daughter on the beach. She said yes. Perfect place to ask my daughter to marry him.

Stop on down to the Boardwalk and create summer memories to last a lifetime. With the ocean, sand, funnel cakes, fudge, pizza, fries, games, rides, souvenirs and more this is the perfect way to spend your day or week for all ages. If you are staying at a hotel or a rental house you will probably have a parking space. If your coming in for a day trip you’ll find plenty of parking lots or street parking. Pack a bag, grab a towel and come on down the shore.

Family friendly beach that the kids will love. I have memories of when I was a child and it's still the same feeling every time I'm in Wildwood. Fun boardwalk games, arcades and rides, with plenty to do and see and eat. Would be nice if more places accepted more than just cash. Drinks are extra pricey on the boardwalk, we're talking $16+ margaritas. Grab drinks at the various beach bars for best bang for your buck. Enjoy those summer days while they lasy!

The Boardwalk is free, the Rides cost tickets. I brought $100 worth of tickets. Three of us road the Big Ferris Wheel and the Pirate Ship. We always have a good time in Wildwood.
