The food here is absolutely wonderful! I've come here with family a few times over the past couple years and each time it's been excellent! Tonight my grandmother and I got the short rib pasta special and it was fall-off-the-bone tender with some incredible demi glace sauce to boot!

Jordan, VP of customer experiences, was amazing. His service was phenomenal, knew everything. He brought happiness and laughter with him each time he approached us. We loved him so much, we chanted his name as he said his final goodbyes.

Dinner never disappoints. We were a large party of 10 and they handled perfectly. Food gets better every time we go. Kids loved chicken parm. Bruschetta and spinaci salad were a hit. Loved my veal parm with vodka sauce! We will be back later this week is that good.

Dan the man, set us up with the plan. Chose some wonderful suggestions. We had salads, apps, and pasta. One of the best fine italian meals in our memory. Bottle service, socialized with the table, and kept our cups full all night. 10/10 would recommend for dinner.

Amazing service and food! Although the lobster bisque special was a little disappointing. Basically tomato soup with a hint of lobster. But everything else was delicious!! Highly recommend.

Valerie was amazing, best waitress! The food was incredible and I would highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Avalon/Stone Harbor. Can’t wait to come back next year :)

Hanna was our server for the night. She did such a wonderful job. The service was amazing and her bubbly personality made our night so special.

We arrived early at 5:30 for dinner and were seated immediately. Our waiter explained all of the specials and was fast with service. Lovely and delicious dinner but we did not know about the bring your own wine! In the end we were glad we didn't have drinks because our food for 4 was $425. Next time we would pay more attention to price!

Jordan was without a doubt the best server we ever had, and all of the food was delicious. Honestly a perfect restaurant experience!

My wife and I read some reviews that weren't too great but we decided that on the recommendation of friends we would go to this restaurant. We were not disappointed I don't know what the problem was in the past but if there was one it's been corrected. The food was terrific our waitress Valerie did a wonderful job.. I had the Osobuco and my wife had a salad that was fabulous. The food, service and ambience were all wonderful. We will definitely go back.

Valerie was amazing! The service could not have been better. We had a great meal and a special experience for our New Year celebration. I would come here again for the food and the service.

We had a fabulous outdoor dining experience at Polpo this evening. The Lobster Ravioli was the best Italian dinner I’ve personally ever had alongside fried New Jersey tomatoes that perfectly encapsulated the best of late summer cuisine. The staff was attentive and helpful. Very much looking forward to coming back again. Thank you!

Italian BYOB in Avalon. So many amazing options to choose from - regular pasta, chicken, meat and seafood based Italian dishes. Food was so good. Service was slow and it did take a while to be seated even with a reservation. But the food made up for it. Dishes are $20-30, app options for $9-20. Bathrooms were dirty.

We loved this restaurant. We had a nice outside table which was just lovely! The food was very solid and the service was attentive. It gets very crowded but it's very well-run and super enjoyable. The outdoor atmosphere was preferable to the indoor dining room IMO...but i would have no qualms about sitting inside when it gets colder. I don't know if they're open year round, but if so I'll be back this winter since we have a place here. Thanks for everything - we'll be back!!

Service was fantastic. Francis our server was awesome. Food was absolutely incredible. I had a special spinach fettuccine with lobster crab asparagus and scallops. There were actually huge pieces of tender lobster and full sized sea scallops. And the most tender asparagus shoots I think I’ve ever had. Honestly it was awesome. My wife enjoyed a traditional spaghetti with meatballs but wanted angel hail pasta which the kitchen was happy to accommodate. We started with bruschetta Caesar salad and lobster bisque. Bisque was excellent. Not overly sweet and with great flavor of lobster. Everything was fantastic. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation. Excellent!

loved it! came in for dinner with my mom and had a great time. homemade pasta is always great but the service was excellent, ambience was excellent and we will certainly be coming back

Jordan was our server he was beyond excellent. The food was fresh, and so delicious. I recommend the short ribs they were so good. Everyone was excellent.

Food was so good! Waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Outdoor seating is very nice!
