BEST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TOO!!! I mean seriously, the service was incredible, the food was incredible, no wait at all!! And the hostess, Ava, sat us immediately!! I seriously could not recommend this place enough!! It’s perfect for every meal of the day!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love their soups!!! Crab soups and clam chowder are the best. The service is super friendly, we have been coming here for some time and we look forward to the Summer to enjoy a nice dinner. It's a BYOB.

Best seafood takeout in AV by a mile! Love their fish tacos, and she crab soup. Can’t go wrong with any of their platters, but particularly like the shrimp or crab cake platters. Quite often some delicious desert in the fridge by the check out too!

The service is AMAZING! The food is very good, we had the Scallops, Calamari, Ahi Tuna. Everything was good, and reasonably priced. Also very nice and attentive. Thank you very much. Recommend it 100%

The Crab Nachos are a great appetizer large and enough for a handful of people to share. Filet was cooked nicely! Great service and friendly staff.

Went here the other night with my son because a friend recommended coming here. My server I believe her name was Sam. She was on point with everything and was very informative on what my son and I should eat that night. I am happy with her suggestions of the mussels in red along with our entrees which was a fried scallops and shrimp platter my son with the whisky maple salmon. Everything was fabulous, all employees were helpful, I’ll be back.

We had a lovely dinner at Oceanside Seafood in Avalon. Our waitress was fantastic and gave us great recommendations for dinner. The Whiskey glazed salon was out of this world as was the Thai shrimp and the combo platter my husband had. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The restaurant was all around an amazing experience. We would totally come here again and recommend this place to anyone who wanted to dine at a great seafood restaurant. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

The food is amazing! Lobsters are sweet and shrimps are fresh. Soooo good!

We got 5 dozen blue claw crabs. All were super heavy and reasonably priced for Avalon. Michele and her staff are always eager to please, providing me with extra coleslaw upon request. Put this one on your list, you won’t be sorry!

Can’t begin to say enough good things about Oceanside. Been coming 4 years in a row whenever I’m on vacation in Avalon and they never disappoint. The waitstaff is always very friendly and attentive and the food…. The food is out of this world!!!

We have been going to Oceanside for years and we absolutely love it! The seafood is top notch. We love the snow crab legs as a staple, but we've also had the calamari, salmon, crab cakes (amazing and all crab meat), and surf and turf. I'm sure I'm missing some, but all of them have been delicious. The service is great, too. Can't recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely meal at Oceanside the other night! The crab nachos were fantastic, and the broiled scallops and shrimp platter was perfectly cooked. Our kids enjoyed their pastas and calamari. Our wait staff were attentive, and the ambience was lovely and laid back. It was a great evening, and we'll definitely return!

Great food and great service

We're glad we found this spot while visiting Stone Harbor/Avalon. At 2 PM on a Saturday, there were only two tables taken, but the place probably seats 60-75 people. The food was great! Really great!! Excellent white clam chowder, very good topneck clams on the half shell, crab cake sandwich, broiled something. This may sound silly but the french fries are outstanding. They're different somehow, crispy, light, delicious. Rice and summer vegetables came on the side. The rest of the menu sounded good too. I almost got the grilled salmon green salad to go.

THE BAD NEWS: no steaks, all seafood; no beer or wine, but it is BYOB; they said there can be a wait to get in some nights; not cheap, our two person lunch was about $65, but we did get plenty of very good food.

BONUS: The place is a small fish market too. They'll sell you by the pound fish and seafood. Decent selection, normal prices, they offer to cook that for you. You can buy tee shirts and other souvenirs too.

Me, my girlfriend and two of our friends went here for dinner. We went to a seafood place the night before and were not very pleased. We ended up getting lobster, and crab and it was phenomenal. No complaints at all. Food was very reasonably priced, and very competitive. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good seafood dinner

This place rocked. Fresh seafood and a great variety of dishes and apps to choose from. And they accommodate large parties (when available). I very highly recommend.

Oceanside is my trusted, go-to seafood market on the island. While I typically visit to purchase fresh shrimp and, day-boat scallops, I have never been disappointed with anything off their menu when I stop in for lunch or dinner from time to time. Their prices are more than fair for a restaurant that is only open seasonally.

Don't be afraid to call ahead and make special requests either. I've put in orders a couple times to have their jumbo shrimp prepped and seasoned so when i pulled into Avalon, they'd be ready for me to pick up and toss on the grill. They can also make special orders for you for fish they don't normally carry.

This is our favorite spot in Avalon. Was just here the other night and the whiskey maple salmon was to die for. I need that recipe! I'll be back soon friends! Bone Appétit

Good food, good service, and a good environment. A little pricy, but it's a block from the beach so it's about what you should expect. We've been there several times and will keep coming back.
