Shellbay Campground

A very charming campground, still family owned. Really nice pool and hot tub, great bathroom facilities. The folks in the office are extremely pleasant and helpful. Close to the Cape May Zoo. There is an awesome bike path that is very close. It is at least 8 miles long and pretty much parallels old Rt. 9. It's also 15 minutes from The Wildwoods. Lots of stuff to do from this location.

My wife & I go there often. It's a nice, clean, & typically quiet campground. The owners are really nice & always a pleasure to talk with. It takes us only a few minutes to get to our favorite beach in Stone Harbor & it's not far from other beaches & towns too.

This campground is quiet, well run, and has nice people-- both staff and campers. It has been family-owned for many many years, and many campers have been coming for generations. It's off Route 9, a few minutes drive from Wildwood beaches. Very clean with shaded campsites, lovely pool, kiddie pool and hot tub, and clean, climate controlled bathhouse with coin operated showers and laundry. A gem, and our go-to at the Jersey Shore.

Fantastic family campground with a majority of seasonal sites that make it feel like a community. Run by an industrious family, it is both well maintained and has that personal touch. Nice big pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, a mini mini-golf course. Big, modern, clean bath houses.
Even 2 cabins for rent.

My family goes every year, everything is very nice, clean, and well maintained. I love that the 25cent claw machine is still there! I just wonder what happened to the slide at the pool? I miss it!

Do here between the pool, playground, tennis and basketball courts. Only thing I would say is the Laundry and bathroom facilities could use a little TLC/updating, but they are clean. Would highly recommend to others.

Grew up coming here, and love the camp grounds!! They continually improve the place and keep everything nice and working. Wouldn’t go to any other campground for the beach. Also continently located near wildwood and stone harbor.

Our favorite campground! Such a hidden gem in an area absolutely full of mediocre campgrounds. We have a pop up camper and the spaces are spacious and shady. Close to bath houses. Nice pool and lots of little things for kids like arcade, ping pong, basketball and a playground. Well priced. Quiet!! No golf carts which I adore. It’s the best!

We have been here for almost 30 years and love it! Very clean Campground paved roads, which is uncommon. Most of the people here have been shellbay campers for decades, so we all know one another and look out for each other's children! Great location, relatively the same distance from here to Stone harbor, Avalon and Wildwood.

I brought my girls to the shore for a week vacation. We stayed at Shell Bay Campground. We pitched a tent for a week. The girls loved it. Sites are clean, pool,hot tub,bath house all cleaned and maintained. Lots for kids to do. Short drive to the beach or boardwalk. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice quiet family-ish place. Family has had a park model there for many years. Great location, not far from Wildwood so younger ones can enjoy the boardwalk and the beach is free. The pool is always nice.

We love it here every summer. It's so clean family run. Very hard workers and it shows.
We like that it is NOT a rowdy campground. It is quiet fun.
If you want Loud music/DJ/band and one big party every night. You may want to go across the street. We like quiet hours at 11pm. Especially with young kids.

Very nice quiet friendly campground. Close to Wildwood, Stone Harbor and Cape May. Very close to Cape May Zoo. You can even ride your bicycle from the campground, a short distance to a paved trail that heads toward the zoo. Awesome!!! Pool is great, had hot tub and kiddie pool. Basketball court, playground, tennis court. If you are looking for more action you'll have to camp next door at Adventure bound, but expect to pay alot more. We loved Shellbay Campground!!

Our family came to Shell Bay late last season. We have been treated great and we couldnt be happier. This campground is run right and the owners are the nicest people. We look forward to spending many summers here. Our experience at Shell bay has been fantastic

Been camping for over 25 years at Shellbay and I would not go any other place. They take great care of the place .

Camped in a tent last year here for the weekend and we loved it. Just came home yesterday from camping in one of their cabins we stayed for 7 days. We had so much fun! The pool is awesome and the people are great and so clean the cabin was perfect. We will be back for sure! 7 mins from Walmart and 8 Mins from Dunkin and they have a store there for anything you need or that you forgot. 15 min drive to wildwood boardwalk. My kids had a great time and made friends quickly... thanks for the great memories ♡

Best campground! Friendly staff, great pool with an enclosed tube slide, kiddie pool and sauna! Mini golf, corn hole, tennis courts, basketball, horseshoes which are all free activities. Clean restrooms with coin operating showers. Will definitely be our new campground every year!

A nice summer setup for families and friends. Places for trailer parking as well as tent camping. Has a nice size pool with slide, kiddie pool with mushroom fountain, and a outdoor hot tub. Also has a place to play volleyball and small mini golf area. Located not far from food and shopping when you want to eat out or get more supplies. Bring a bike with lights if you want to ride it on property.

Nice campground, they do leave you alone, however lots of kids, you do have to pay for showers, however it does not bother us because it does help keep the bathrooms cleaner, would be nice to see more improvements.
