Tiny little museum with all sorts of artifacts from Wildwood's history. The staff is very kind, and they're always looking for people to be involved.

A phenomenal repository for any and all visitors young and young at heart. Definitely a worthy destination FREE admission but do donate as the volunteers put 100s of hours in to maintaining & preserving undoubtedly the largest Jersey Shore town archive of its kind.

Great place to learn about the history of Wildwood, NJ. Its Free to enter and they have a nice gift shop of interesting things to buy. Like pieces of the boardwalk, plain or with images on them. Huge research area to look through if you're looking for something particular. Worth the visit and a must do!

Interesting... I am a historian whose interest is reflective of being an African American descendant. There was a small section that shared some of their black history. I also thought that the many photos of historic Wildwood the bathing attire from 100 years ago.

We were recently in Wildwood last week for a few days. We were looking for fun things to do while we were there. On the way into town we saw a sign for the Wildwood History Museum. We have been going to Wildwood for decades and honestly did not know this little gem existed. We were absolutely mystified by the amount of information in this amazing little place! We were treated to such a time warp and were able to relive so many memories! It was amazing to look at the pictures of the glorious history of Wildwood. I am a child of the 1970s and 1980s and it was terrific to see photos of the boardwalk and piers during that time. You could literally spend hours in there. Seeing the sign for Groff's and menus and memorabilia for Zaberer's and The Dolphin Restaurant really brought back nice memories. The really nice bonus for the wonderful place is that it is 100% free!! They do however take donations if you would like to contribute to their continued service to the community. In these uncertain economic times it is really nice that you can go in there with your family, learn a bit about the history of Wildwood and spend quality time together while doing so without the pain of a high priced attraction. We had a great time there and totally enjoyed our visit. I hope that you guys are able to educate visitors there for years to come. Thanks.

Super cool museum with lots of history on the 4 Wildwoods towns. Jim was so generous! We really enjoyed all of his incredible stories. Make sure to donate as they don’t charge admission.

FREE! FREE! FREE! This little hole in the wall is more than just a little hole. It is a time machine! Each room is designated to a piece of wildwood history, most donated by citizens or discovered by locals to treasure in the halls of history. You can see glimpses of Wildwood back in the day! How beach goers could be treated to different foods, rides, and attractions. The staff are nice and approachable. And are willing to answer questions to the best of their ability. They do have a gift shop that you can purchase little trinkets.

They have TONS of stuff to see. I was.most interested in the old rides and motels, but it is so much more. We'll worth the trip.

If you've been coming to the Wildwoods for any length of time, then this weird, wonderful little gem of a museum is not to be missed. Lots of photos and artifacts from all phases of the history of the island and its amusements. There were so many things I recognized that I'd seen so long ago and nearly forgotten all about. Places like these do a great service to their community and to history.

Fun place to visit for anyone who spent their childhood on the boardwalk. From relics of Hunt's Pier, including a cactus from the top of the Golden Nugget and the Keystone Characters from the ticket booth, and items from Castle Dracula to random nuggets like a life ring from The Captain's Table restaurant in Wildwood Crest and a whole section dedicated to Zaberer's, there's plenty for a 30-60 minute visit. Even my kids, who roll their eyes whenever I talk about what it was like when I was a kid, had a great time. No admission fee, but be sure to bring a couple bucks for the donation bin. It's definitely worth it.
