Shades of Stone Harbor

After having problems finding someplace to get Prescription Oakley Sunglasses I eventually walked into Shades of Stone Harbor. The manager there, Scott Loper, was so nice and so helpful that I was able to get EXACTLY what I wanted. Oakley did NOT make it easy to because one phone person would say "Oh yes. We can do that". Scott would go over everything with me on the phone and then when he called to place the order the next Oakley person would say "Sorry. We can't do that". He never gave up. I just picked up 2 pairs of prescription sunglasses that are just great! They totally meet my needs.
Scott is very knowledgeable and he never gave up and remained very pleasant/helpful the entire time. On top of that he is a super nice guy. 5 Stars - I'll go back there every time I need sunglasses in the future!

We love Shades of Stone Harbor!! We can always find such a great selection and exactly what we are looking for! We have bought several pairs of sunglasses here. Recently a pair of my Ray Bans from Shades had lost a part and they happily replaced it!

My family and I have been Coming here forever and Scott is the best! He fixed my sunglasses that were beyond repair and always knows the best glasses for everyone! The service is off the charts!!!

So happy they were able to make a repair on a pair of my glasses. So sweet of them to not charge for the repair! I will be back for all of my sunglass needs in the future :)

Best place to get sunglasses on 7 mile island. They offer great advice for finding a pair of shades that work for your personal needs!

I’ve always enjoyed this sunglasses store in stone harbor. The selection is fantastic with a variety in prices. Scott was very nice - and an excellent salesman. He showed us things that were different prices and was not pushy. He fixed another patrons glasses for free while we were browsing. We ultimately did purchase sunglasses and he gave us free ones for our baby girl. I ordered prescription glasses and I look forward to getting those in the mail. Overall excellent experience and a great store!

Incredible selection and an even more incredible man who owns the store. Could not be kinder, more helpful, or have more interesting stories! A must stop by spot for anyone passing through Stone Harbor.

The staff here was amazing, I thought my sunglasses were beyond repair but her was able to reshape the frame back to the original shape and he didn’t charge a dime!

Great service and super friendly !!Came to get my sunglasses readjusted and the owner fixed them free of charge and gave helpful advice on how to keep my sunglasses in tact. 10/10

Young lady working behind the counter yesterday was fantastic. I am a person of color and I felt very comfortable with her service. I will definitely stop by and purchase the Cartiers or other pairs for my wife next time.

I had a new pair of Ray Bans that were not well fitting, a gift purchased elsewhere.
Scott, at this store immediately diagnosed the problem, and using his machine quickly and expertly made the necessary adjustment. He would not take money.

My Father-in-Law sat on my wire Ray Bans, while on vacation in Stone Harbor. They were flattened and a lens popped out. A friend recommended Shades and I went over the next day. It took maybe 20 minutes for them to completely fix the sunglasses, including the lens, arms, etc. They would not accept payment. What a great place!

I love this store!! Every pair of sunglasses I have ever gotten where from here. Super nice and friendly staff. Every time I go in there he remeber who I am! He even fixed a pair of sunglasses for me that where a gift that where not even bought at this store! Have nothing but good things to say about this store!

I did not make a purchase here but had such an excellent shopping experience that I am compelled to write a review. I was with my wife and baby daughter looking at a pair of expensive sunglass (at least in my book $200 is expensive)...Anyway, the manager was very patient and nice. When I asked his honest opinion, he actually talked me out of buying them. When does that happen? He then suggested a different pair that was slightly more expensive ($249), but offered to discount them them to the price of the original pair I was looking at. I opted not to buy them as I did not like the feel/comfort, but was extremely impressed with the honesty and customer service at this store. I will def shop here in the future. Great staff.

I have bought lenses here before and will continue to do so. Not only does it have a great selection, the service sets it apart. They maintain the highest concierge form of customer service and will always bring me back. The only places I’ll buy glasses from now on.
