UPDATE: Refrigerator was not a requested urgent delivery. It was delivered about a week after purchase on the day you scheduled. I had no input on the delivery day whatsoever. Also, Dave was advised prior to delivery what side the hinges needed to be on. Dave admitted that he had forgotten to change them at the warehouse and, like I said, asked if he could come back to do that. As stated, that was three summers ago. Do you want to make good on that promise now? Per the owners manual, it directed me to the dealer if warranty service was needed. That's when Dave told me that your store did not have a service department and I should call Frigidaire. I tried calling them and the the recording for the servicing dealer stated they didn't do service on products they didn't sell. Another call to Frigidaire and I was told the wait time on hold would be over 50 minutes. I called Dave again and told him I will just return the dishwasher as it wasn't working and was defective and I didn't want to wait an hour on hold to schedule service. That's when he told me he would call and get it scheduled for me. He never did that, which is no surprise based on my previous experience with him. That's what happened. I haven't even gotten into the 5 cancelled scheduled service calls with a 10 day to 2 week wait between them. I think it would be in any prospective customer's best interest to take note that this business, by their own admission, does not have a service department. There are plenty of appliance dealers that do have their own factory authorized service department and based on my experience with Daves and Paramount being a nightmare, a dealer with a service department would be a a much safer and better choice. My dishwasher purchased and used once on June 3rd. As of August 12th it still hadn't been serviced until I finally paid (yes, paid) a repairman to fix my brand new dishwasher. You can avoid that by going to a better equipped dealer.

I've purchased from Dave's two times. I made my first purchase, a refrigerator, based on the good reviews. Dave delivered it himself but the door hinge needed to be changed. He asked if he could come back to do that as it was a holiday weekend and he wanted to get home. I agreed and he said he would call to schedule the work. That was three summers ago and still the door hinge hasn't been changed. I probably should have stayed away after the first one star experience. When I needed to purchase a new microwave and dishwasher I decided to use Dave again. He didn't have the dishwasher I wanted but recommended Frigidaire, stating that he never had problems with them. I ended up having to pay more than initially quoted and I had to pick them up. These were ordered two days after the price was quoted. I now kick myself for deciding to still buy from them. The dishwasher failed after the first use. Per the owners manual I went back to the dealer. Dave told me that they don't have service and I needed to call Frigidaire. They gave me an appliance company that only services what they sell. So I went back to Dave. Dave was supposed to handle getting me service. That was three weeks ago and still no call back. He promised to arrange the service needed but then didn't follow through. I have a dishwasher used once and hasn't worked in 7 weeks. I'd advise using a company that has a service department so you won't be stuck like me. I'd also be a bit skeptical of all the 5 star reviews, I haven't had a 5 star experience in two attempts now. It would be in your best interest to order your appliances from a dealer who could provide warranty services should you need them. This has been a nightmare for me.
