The New Dodge's Market

Such a cute place to stop into with the most delicious food! My cousin had a surprise baby shower here and I was back within a few days because of how great the atmosphere was and how friendly the staff is. Signature salad dressing is excellent, and the panini I ordered with fresh basil, mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes was to die for!!! A MUST-see if you’re in the area.

We stopped at Dodge's because we wanted a quick bite for lunch while attending a nearby youth soccer tournament. We were pleasantly surprised at the diverse menu - miraculously our entire party of 7 (including picky kids) found something they liked! Service was outstanding and very friendly. Turns out it is the longest operating market in the state of New Jersey - going back to the 1800's! Loved being able to spend lunch at this little slice of New Jersey history.

I went here for lunch today with a party of 6, all of us vegan. I had called a few days ahead to make sure they could accommodate us, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. When we got there, he had 2 vegan specials planned for us made with fresh local produce and both were amazing. We also got an order of hand-cut fries for the table which were seriously the best fries I've ever had in my life...I might have to go back to Elmer just for them! All of the food was very high quality, very fresh and very delicious! One word of caution though is don't go here if you're in a rush because service is very slow. But that just gives you more time to visit, relax, and soak in the authentic old-timey country vibe of the place. Not just a meal, it's an experience! And the owners are just the nicest guys and very accommodating to dietary restrictions. If you're in the area definitely check this place out.

Excellent gourmet sandwiches. I highly recommend their breaded eggplant. Perfectly prepared. Friendly staff and good prices accentuate the high quality fare. A great stop for a quick lunch. A great cup of coffee too!

This little restaurant/sandwich shop/bakery was a great find! We were playing in a soccer tournament in Pittsgrove and came across this gem of an eatery. It was in a building from I believe the late 1800’s and was very unique. Me and my daughter each had a sandwich on nice fresh bread with sesame seeds on top. I had a chicken cutlet and my daughter got turkey. The chicken cutlet was on grilled bread and both sandwiches came with a little fruit and a few of their home made potato chips. The chips were great! I just wanted a few more then what was served. Prices were very reasonable and they came in three different sizes; 6”,12”or a 24” sub. There was also a nice case with freshly made cookies and cakes as well. They also sold olive oils that you can bottle yourself. If you are passing through the area, check this place out. It’s a nice family run business! Spoke to Scott the owner and you can tell he takes pride in the food served here!

If you drive route 40 to the Jersey Shore (southern Beaches) you probably have missed this gem. The atmosphere is cute and quiet. The food is excellent! The up side down side is that all meals are made fresh to order. This means yummy in your tummy but a tick tock on your wrist watch! He offers mostly sandwiches and they are more pricey than a standard sandwich shop ( for the area) but the ingredients are of high quality and interesting pairings. He does have daily specials that are dinner meals. he also has a banquet room that would be great for office parties or baby showers, things of that nature.
If you are visiting someone in Elmer Hospital consider taking a nice break, have a quiet, tasty meal...it is only about 2 minutes away

Delicious food and a charming atmosphere, there really aren’t many places like it in South Jersey. There’s a wide and well tailored selection of food on the menu and in store to buy. It’s all topped off with remarkable service. What’s not to love.

A beautiful old market with good food, service and atmosphere!

This was our first time at Dodge’s Market and it was delicious! Both of us ordered the cheesesteak panini and the
steak meat was tender and flavorful. The blue cheese was out of this world…yum!

New Dodge’s Market in my opinion is one of thee best places to eat and just hang out in South Jersey. The food is always fresh, cooked perfectly and on point’! The ambience in here is damn near perfect and homely. I can’t recommend a certain meal due to everything I’ve had is incredible. My girlfriend and I try to make it here once a week due to how much we love it here.

Went to lost elephant to check out a new brewery then needed to get food to bring kayaking. I’m sick of stopping at wawa for the convenience since the food is terrible, and said “let’s try that place across the street.” What a great decision that was. Steak sandwich was 10/10 and the customer service was 10/10 (even gave us a free ice cream). I will drive to Elmer just to stop here in the future.

Just had a great meal here with my husband and daughter! Amazing portions for such a great price, and very flavorful. Super sweet staff too!! We will definitely be back!

Excellent menu, great location and an unparalleled stop for a delicious bite to eat. I was impressed by the ribeye; we'll definitely be coming back. Small businesses like this will make your day and provide a valuable service!

Just stopped in on my way home back to Delaware, expected a quiet little small town market but found a gorgeous historical landmarks that I can only hope is a cultural heart of the town. The Tuna Salad and Macaroni Salad is amazing! Unfortunately I forgot to get some of their famous cheese but the shop owner (sorry didn't get your name :( ) was super polite and helpful. If you ever find yourself passing through or even in the general area make sure you stop in!!

Dodge's Market did the catering for my daughter's wedding shower. What a fabulous presentation! Everything from chartreuse to home made soups, gourmet salads, to the desserts, at great value. The food was delicious 🤤😋. They provide the silverware, china, and glassware. I didn't have to wash anything, they cleaned up afterwards and left me to enjoy the day and company. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely use them in the future. I haven't been to the Market yet but I'm looking forward to the experience!

I’m from Colorado and come here every visit. Scott and the crew does not disappoint. Goes above and beyond. Everything is delicious! It’s worth the visit!

They were closed for a while because of Covid and probably had a hard time because they were a little disorganized and the outside was a little rundown, but the food was out of this world. Really good. I also like the old fashioned atmosphere. I hope they're making it because I plan to take a friend there.
