Cincinnati Accordion

I wanted to have a couple things fine tuned on my 105 year old accordion, and Matt and London found time for me to come in very soon after I contacted them, and let me hang out there while they made the fix. All for an incredibly reasonable price! Great service and great people.

Matt and London did an amazing job restoring my 1930s Wurlitzer! I inherited it from my aunt, shown with the accordion in the photo below taken sometime in the late 1930s. The instrument spent a long time in an attic; the heat and the years time had taken their toll, but now it looks and sounds awesome! They are skilled craftsmen and musicians, and passionate about their work .

We were looking for a refurbished accordion for my dad, who hasn't played for a long time but still has the love in his heart and fingers for this amazing instrument. We knew we were at the right place when Matt and London greeted us and had just what Dad was looking for. This is an incredible family business - friendly, honest and professional. Love that they know the history of the instruments. We are so glad we found them. Thanks for helping my dad find exactly what he was looking for to continue his accordion playing days ahead. I went to Cincinnati Accordion to check out their selection, and they explained the differences between the different instruments to me, and let me try each one, as well as showing me how it sounds (the son plays very well). Then I chose a squeezebox that needed quite a bit of work, since it hadn't been played in decades. I picked it up today after Matt put many hours into fixing it up. It sounds and looks beautiful!
The family is also very kind and pleasant to talk with. What a gem to have in the area.

I was in search of finding information about the accordion when I came in contact with Matt and London. They invited to see their shop. I was taken through the workings of the accordion at their accordion shop. Everything was explained to me. They are honest and they have great accordion! Matt’s a stand up guy and quite friendly, you can tell he has a passion for the accordion when it comes to repairs as his son plays em, so I mean that’s more of a drive to do so; he’ll keep you up to date as well if you have any questions plus he’ll take pics of all that he’s done to it along with letting his son (A fine accordionist I must say.) play the areas that needed fixed so you know you’re good to go. You’ll get a video clip of it to let it know the problem has been resolved. I’ve had two accordions fixed by him and now he’s working on my third. Oh, my! My accordion, bought new, is 60 years old; since I love it so, I would play it frequently. When a key started sticking, I was heartbroken. Cincinnati Accordion folks not only fixed the sticking key, but took it apart, cleaned it thoroughly inside and out. It came back to me like a new one...shiny, beautiful! I can't stop spreading the word!!

We had a small Hohner that had maintenance issues. We took it down to Matt and London and asked them to go over it and bring it back up to snuff. Boy were we pleased with the outcome...no more sticking keys, no more ghost notes, and it plays great. The work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price, plus they were just great people to deal with. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Thanks guys.

In a word, EXCELLENT service. Matt and London are very knowledgeable, and their genuine passion for the accordion family is obvious in the care with which they treat the instruments, enthusiasm and customer service, and of course London’s musical aptitude for demonstrating their beauty!

These guys really know their stuff. Took plenty of time to help educate my 14 yr old son and myself to make sure we were getting the right accordion for his needs. You can tell the really love what they do and love accordions! Worth the drive and will definitely return when the time comes
