Sam Peden Community Park

Beautiful! Well maintained. Very clean and cared for. No trash lying around. No graffiti. I love this park!

Very clean, well-maintained park. Great amount of space, 4 shelters with grills and individual bathrooms at 3 of those 4. Horseshoe, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, volleyball courts. They have a walk and read to keep kids interested in being more proactive, a book exchange box and a small food trade box. Huge lake for fishing, trails, even woods with a beautiful creek. We love this park. They also are monitored by local police which is nice also.

Well, if you're in southern Indiana there isn't to much to see, however this little park is great! Nice wildlife, TONS of geese and ducks. The park offers nice fields for various sports, tennis courts, well kept playgrounds, and a 1.2 mile loop around a very nice pound. The water is surprisingly clean considering it's a pound in Indiana.

This park has something for everyone! Whether you enjoy walking and running, relaxing under a tree, having a family picnic at a playground, or athletics like tennis, basketball, and volleyball...this is the place for you! Several playgrounds located throughout the park of various sizes and offerings. You can even fish in the lake and try to catch the big one! Ive heard that soon that floyd county parks will be adding several pickleball courts to the tennis facililty. If you love parks, you definitely need to visit this one and see what you enjoy the most about it!

This park has activities for kids and adults alike. Tennis courts, soccer field, basketball courts, walking trails, and of course fishing in the beautiful lake!

Basically has anything and everything you could want in a park. Trails. Wooded area. Tennis. Basketball. Playgrounds. All centered around a pond. Multiple shelter areas.

Nice kid friendly mulch park with a playground, swingset, and walking trail. The swingset is inside a sandpit kids can play in and the walking trail surrounds a pond.

Nice park. Took my drone over to fly around. Got some good video. Lots of families out today.

Lovey and relaxing place to walk and enjoy the wildlife. Saw my first Muscovy duck there!

Lots of open space, plenty of play areas for kids, basketball and tennis courts...lake with ducks and geese with paved walking path that goes around...Great place to stretch your legs and be outside.

We love this park! Plenty of room to play, run around, swings, slides, nature exploring for children.

It has a wonderful summer pickle ball league.

Went there to see the eclipse.... it was a nice park

Very peaceful and clean, they provide restrooms as well as cooking grills! Excellent for birthday party’s or family gatherings

Community Park has a lake, a walking Track that goes around the lake, and multiple walking trails that go through the woods! The walking trails through the woods are easy. You don't have to be an experienced hiker for these trails. You can probably walk the trails in 20 minutes with no major obstacles. Community Park also has basketball courts, and Tennis Courts.
