They had a band on Easter loved it. They had Easter egg hunt lots of hun!!! All you could eat very tasty loved it. Very friendly atmosphere, places for the children to play, animals to pet, so all over we had a beautiful, beautiful time and loved it. Love and peace out to all!!!

Cute playground for elementary aged kids. The lock bridge is located behind the restaurant. There are huge fish, ducks, and turtles in the pond. Great views, pretty busy and wonderful atmosphere. If it's too busy, the menu is lowered to one option, but other than that, it's great!

The Grandkids had a Great time! Fun family outing. The weather was perfect! The wine was great, from what I'm told. They picked their own pumpkins!🎃🎃

Great place! Chicken was well seasoned and the sides just kept coming. If you leave here hungry it is your own fault. Our waitress was great and my nephews had tons of fun playing on the playground and looking at their turtle pond. With the style of food, friendliness of the staff, and all of the amenities this place really feels like a home. And the biscuits. Wow.

Had a wonderful day, picnicking beside the lake wes nice. Weather was great that day. Nice to be able to take my dogs out to places where I can get food. You order your food carry out at the side window and buy or bring your own picnic blanket and get food for however many you want.

We ate at the restaurant, it was delicious. Wonderful home cooking. The fried chicken was some of the best we've ever eaten ( and we're from the south). The chicken and dumplings were so tasty and the service was great.

My extended family met here after my Mom's memorial service and they were very accommodating. I thought we'd have 15 - 20 people and couldn't give an exact time for our reservation.

Well, they seated over 30 people for us, and served the delicious family-style meal, without a hitch and with smiles on their face!

EVERYONE in our party seemed more than happy with their food, service and venue.

Usually I won't order fried chicken at a restaurant, because it's undercooked, but it was recommended and perfect. That being said, I could have just been fed the fried rolls and apple butter & been in 7th heaven!

We had an absolute blast at this place. They had so much to do for my little ones ages 1 and 2. There were rideable stationary animals, mountain slides, rideable tractors, tractor/pumpkin train, corn maze, rideable tricycles and peddle go kart toys, playground area, swings, two bounce pads, adorable play houses and a playhouse pumpkin, lots of wooden vehicles like a bus, tractor and train. They had a huge wooden rocking chair, a gem station with water, and an adorable ducky slide that quacks when you go down. It was only $6 per person and they didn't charge me for my 1 year old. They have a winery with wine tasting for $15. I was disappointed they had sold out of their pumpkin ice-cream and bottled water in one shop. They have a tractor/trailer that runs down to the pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins. They have apple orchards as well. Lots and lots to do with the family young and old. Would 100% recommend. It was an awesome day!

We absolutely love Hubers. We had a large event and everything went flawlessly. Food was amazing, everyone on staff was friendly and helpful before, during and after the event.

Great venue for a farm entertainment day. We first went to the restaurant and had a great meal. It is a very limited menu of fish or chicken with typical country sides, but they do a good job. There are also hamburger and ham sandwiches. They also have adult drinks available.

The grounds have a fish and turtle pond, seasonal and country decorations.

However, we were disappointed the farm zoo didn't have any animals. I had been there about 20 years ago and they did have a petting zoo.

There is a hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch or you can easily walk. Plenty of pumpkins available in the patch or at the gift shop.

The Gift Shop has a good variety of items. T-shirts, hoodies, lots of preserves and apple butter (restaurant brings a delicious apple butter for your meal), wind chimes, seasonal fruit, and many other country gifts.

There is also a ice cream parlor at the gift shop but must be a seasonal or special occasion operation.

I did not visit, but the farm has a winery. They also have special event buildings available.

I suggest visiting their web site for information on all available activities and special events. We visited on a Friday and several people were there, but events can get crowded.

I live in Owenton ky and have been coming to Joe Hubers for over 30 years several times a year. I have to say I am 62 years old and this is the only restaurant that have eat at especially that many times and never had bad food service or just nothing bad. It's a top notch restaurant for just stopping by or anything and good for the whole family

This place was a lot of fun. This was my first year going which is sad because they might be closing after this year depending on what they do with the change of ownership. I loved getting ice cream and going through the farmers market style shop where they have Apple butter, little painted pumpkins, toys, candy and a bunch of other things (a little pricey if you actually want to buy something; we just browsed). The hay ride to the pumpkin patch was fun, but very bumpy and dusty so I had to cover my little one up with a blanket as her car seat was coated with dust. Make sure to close your mouth on the ride or you'll be eating dirt. They have pony rides and tractor rides and fun games for kids that we didn't do because my daughter is under a year, but it looked like fun. They also have a buffet-style restaurant. We enjoyed the gazebo with the porch swings and took lots of pictures by hay bales and the lake. Definitely would recommend going while it's still around.

Great family fun at Hubers! Delicious donuts highly recommend getting the dozen! The apple cider and pumpkin donut are amazing. Nice market inside with tons of options to fresh items, herbs, breads and more. Went during COVID and it was still a lot of fun! Went on the tractor ride to pick pumpkins. The grill outdoor restaurant was priced a bit high. Liquor shop was nice and had some good souvenirs. All sound a great atmosphere to have a date or family gathering! Always enjoy coming to Hubers!

Huber’s has it all from food to wine and family fun. Great place to have family fun adventures, feed the animals or go grab a ride on a tractor and pick fruits also take advantage of the restaurant and produce & my favorite of them all is the winery.

A great place to visit for a family fun day. Live music, wine tasting, Apple picking and Pumpkin picking! A free fun tractor ride to each destination. The restaurant is good but a little pricey per person. Usually visit once a year around fall.

Scrumptious fried chicken dinner served family style with mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits with apple butter and chicken and dumplings! We sat outside on the patio. Excellent food and service! Beautiful blue sky afternoon!

I always remember this place forever in my life. You must visit this at least ones every year. It’s definitely a picnic experience for me and my family. My daughter enjoyed too much here. Very big restaurant. Free trip to farm in a tractor. Apple picking , strawberry picking, pumpkin pickup you will enjoy too much. Free parking.

Always great experience the food its pretty good always nice and fresh everything make it from scratch very good flavors and the staff it's always friendly good food good service family friendly and don't forget the store next door they got so many goodies too and great wine's too well recommend
