Beautiful shop is 100% cotton fabric. Mike was really helpful picking out colors and deciding how much I need. Would highly recommend this place over a big box store.

Service was phenomenal! Food was delicious and cooked to order. Iced tea hit the spot, and there were several choices for artificial sweeteners. Last, but not least, our group was personally greeted by the owner. When dining at locally-owned restaurants, I always greatly appreciate the owner taking the time to welcome us to his/hey establishment.

Drive out into the countryside and discover one of the most friendly and happy quilt shops. When we went in, the woman behind the counter greeted us with a big warm smile and showed us around the shop. Batiks of all color and design warmed our quilter's souls, but inside the other rooms we were surprised to see amazing quilts made by her son who wins Best of Show at the Indiana Fair. We got to meet him and he showed us some of his patterns and the vintage machine he does all his piecing and quilting on. He has a wide variety of different fabric lines which we hadn't seen any place else. Stop, shop and enjoy

The quilts on display were amazing!!! The elderly lady at the front desk was kind and helpful.

Super huge fabric selection, mostly cotton, with a wide variety of cute patterns!

Also a good selection of sewing/quilting tutorial books and sewing patterns.

Pricing was ok, not as cheap as Joannes or Hobby Lobby, but all the fabric was high quality.

My favorite part was the huge, and I mean huge, dat quarter collection. I was able to purchase several fabrics for a great price!

My heart is broken. We have lost a gifted, talented young man too soon. God be with you, Michael! Marilyn and Bill, we will be here for you.

Such a unique quilt shop, unfortunately one of the owners passed away and they have to close. His creativity was amazing.

Just found out about this little gem. Amazing selection of batiks, Kona and other treasures. Very friendly. Will be back!

My favorite fabric store by far. Skip Jo-Ann's and come here instead. The storefront might look small but the selection is massive. I've never gone in (with samples, part of a color way, or even just a pattern or idea) and not come out with a perfect fabric for my needs. Their selection of batiks in particular is vast - every color combo you can think of - and the quality is always spectacular. And their little wall of fat quarters is far from an afterthought, money grab, or remnants - they're the same fabric you can get from the bolts next to them. The staff (mother and son) are so knowledgeable and friendly, and have great suggestions to complete any product.

If I could give six stars, I would!

The sign is small, but it is what looks like a small storefront in a sign shop. But wow! The selection is fantastic! If there's a color you need, they have it. Overall pleasant shopping experience, really impressive selection.

I love, love this store. It looks like a tiny place of business but boy is it packed with all kinds of quilting and sewing needs. This is my first visit and I am so impressed with the owner's work hanging on the wall as well as the huge assortment of batik fabrics. You can tell the owner truly loves what he does.

Like the name says. NOT YOUR AVERAGE QUILTER..They are right!! This is an absolute must if you like fabrics..if you like to sew ..and if you are a quilter..get ready!! This is a fantastic place..

I was given a gift certificate and had been wanting to visit this shop..I finally went today and was overwhelmed with all the beautiful quilts on display..They have the best selection of batiks..from icy white to any range of black with berry or green..whatever you are looking for..they have it.. and it is all neatly displayed..and all color coordinations..
All the quilts Mike makes himself..by that I mean that he designs them and sews them and quilts them with such intricate designs..
My favorite quilt I would have to say is the eagle..When you see it..It is absolutely the most beautiful quilt I have ever seen..
Mike has such a gift of creativity.. That eagle seems to just want to soar off that quilt.
They even have B.O.M's..
Block of the months for sale..The are all Mike's own designs..
If you love fabric..if you sew..and if you quilt..THIS IS YOUR SHOP!!
I am so going to be a regular there!! And you should be also!!

You can find fabric here that is unusual and delightful. The people go out of their way to find the right fabric or give advice. Best shop I know.
